You lay in bed that night, the only thing on your mind being Toby. He may be a killer, and it might be that you're a little afraid of him, but you still love him.

He still scares you, but not as much as before. You fear that it's all a trap and a way to lead you into a kill, but you try not to think about it and try your best to trust him.

You tossed and turned, not falling asleep. You glanced back at your clock, it being two in the morning.

You sighed in defeat and sat up, not falling asleep. You saw the faint outline of a person standing in front of your window, but you couldn't tell who or what it was.

Then it twitched. The outline of hatchets became more visible. A face became visible under the shimmering moonlight.

"Toby?" You questioned, your voice just louder tan a whisper.

You heard him sigh as he walked over to the side of your bed, sitting down on the edge. He put his hatchets down next to him and held his head in his hands.

"Look, Y/N, Slender, my boss, assigned me and two other guys to come kill you. We looked through your information like we usually do, and I was assigned to kill you. I just couldn't bring myself to do it, so I befriended you instead. Now we're here." Toby explained.

You burst into tears and curled up into a ball. Toby took of his mask and glasses, revealing the sad face behind it. You wanted to be mad at him, but you were too nice to stay angry.

"It's okay Toby. I'm glad you didn't chop me up with your hatchets." You said, hugging him tightly.

You could feel him smile as he returned the hug. You yawned finally, and Toby stood up to leave. He collected his belongings and walked back to the window, waving one of his hatchets. You smiled and waved back, laying down and falling asleep.

Toby's POV
I hopped out her window, seeing the masked faces of Masky and Hoodie. I grinned widely, slipping my mask and giggles back on.

"She bought it."
