Safe Haven With The Biker

Chapter 3

"Mom you came back already is Clarissa with you I can't wait to meet my new worker and roomie!" Said Natasha I guess cuz I haven't seen her yet. But she seems very sweet because she can hardly wait to see me, a complete stranger!!
"Quit your yelling sweetie, and get your butt down here to meet the beautiful Clarissa." Retorted Kelly to her daughter, but the comment about me beautiful had me blushing because no one has told me that in a long time and it had me blushing a deep shade of red.
"Hi, it's really nice to meet you and thank you soooo much for just giving me these wonderful opportunities without even meeting me. You don't even know how much it means to me." I said once I saw the beautiful brunette who looked a lot like her mom. Natasha began laughing at me and then began to say,
"Hi, it's really nice to meet you too and don't even mention it anymore, by no time you and I will be like the sisters we wished we had. Ok??" Natasha asked and I just nodded in agreement to baffled to say anything else and we both followed Kelly into the kitchen to make dinner. I guess sometimes people are very kind-hearted and these two women definitely were and I had to distance myself from them in order to protect them from my past. When we got into the kitchen I saw Kelly was getting ready to order something when I stopped her and said,
"Why don't we just cook something and eat in instead of out?"  At the mention of that Natasha began laughing so hard she has to hold on to the counter "what did I say something wrong?" I asked confused.
"No. It's just really funny neither me or my mom can cook a home-cooked meal to save our lives, the only thing we can cook is frozen food." Said Natasha while trying very hard to control her breath.
"It's not funny Natasha I can cook, but it just doesn't turn out good." Her mom replied I couldn't help myself and began laughing towhee an idea popped in my head,
"Let me cook for you guys..."
When I got interrupted by Natasha and Kelly saying "no you don't need to do that besides your the guest at our house."
I shook my head and said " you guys I insist upon it. At least let me do this as a thank you for all the generosity you have offered upon me. And I'm not taking no for an answer so let me look what's in the fridge and we'll get groceries if need be. Ok."
They both replied, " okay if you insist, but remember this your apart of our family know. Understand it and accept Clarissa." I shook my head in understanding while looking through the fridge, when I found Alfredo sauce I thought I would make my specialty Alfredo pasta, but I needed to pick up some stuff.
"Oh, yea you guys can invite any friends you guys want because I'm making a lot, so go and call some people over for dinner! And let's get a move on to the store I need to pick up some groceries." I told them kindly, once they were finished calling and texting their friends and I finished making the grocery list we left the store. We got into the car and I asked Natasha "so where do you live?"
"Oh, I live in a two-bedroom sweet apartment like five minutes away from mom's house. My daycare is only ten minutes away from our apartment but don't worry I'll show you the way later after dinner." Natasha said and then we were at the store. I got the pasta noodles, bell peppers, the spicy green peppers, some chicken I could grill, some bread to make garlic bread, and lastly Alfredo sauce. After getting all the things for the dinner I decided to get all the stuff for desert which was Devils food cake. So Natasha and I split up and got eggs, all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, instant coffee, chocolate chips, sugar, whipped cream, and powdered sugar.
"Wow, you girls kept running up and down the aisles that I just decided to stay put so you girls just could bring it to me. So let's get the hell out of this maze and buy these goods and get home to cook this big feast before the guests come!!" Kelly said with a bounce to her step, I don't know why but I had a really good feeling that this dinner would turn out to be pretty interesting after all. Once we bought all the groceries and we reached Kelly's house we got out and brought the groceries inside the house and into the kitchen. Natasha and me were washing all the peppers while Kelly was drying them, but all of us were singing horribly to Shake It Off.
"I stay out too late
Got nothing in my brain"
We skipped tons of lines and screamed out loud "baby I'm just gonna shake, shake, shake, shake, shake
I shake it off, I shake it off" but what we didn't realize that Kelly had got a jug of water until she dumped it on us. Natasha and I screamed so loud and then it turned into this big water fight but stopped when I yelled
"Enough guys it almost six the guests are going to be here soon and I haven't started cooking you guys change and stay out of the kitchen and layout something nice for me to where!! Okay!!" They nodded sheepishly and ran up the stairs. The first thing I did was clean off all the water puddles we had made and then began boiling the pasta cutting all the veggies putting them in a pan to cook grilling the chicken on the barbecue. Once they were all ready to put together I put them together and added the Alfredo sauce in, but quickly remembered about the chicken so I got it out and began cutting the best I could with a cast on when Natasha came behind me and pushed me. Natasha pushing me had me cut my finger and, blurting out "fuck that hurt."
She quickly said, "oh my god I'm soooo sorry let's get that under water and put a bandaid on it doesn't look like it need stitches."
I replied, "ok but hurry up I had to put the chicken in to and some milk to the pasta!" She quickly washed it off with water and put a bandaid on, so I began cutting once I was done the cutting I added the chicken and milk to make it less thick. I prepped the chocolate cake and put it in a pan and finished with the garlic bread and I'll put it in the oven when the guests come over. Now all I had to do was get ready and put some makeup on and the rest I could do once the guests arrived.
