When she was born, she never had a chance to see her parents. Never open her eyes to their welcoming eyes and smiles.
The doctors and nurses who worked at the hospital whisked her away to the orphanage where she would stay until the age of 10.
" Where should we send her?" Asked her doctor.
"All other orphanages are filled to the brim." The nurse answered.
"Are you sure there is no other?" He asked.
"Yes. There's no other available."
"You don't mean. . ." The doctor put the pieces together.
"Yes. To St. Margaret's Orphanage." The nurse said grimly.
And so it was done, the little baby girl was shipped off to the dark, looming towers of St. Margaret's Orphanage, unknown to anyone that she would someday change the lives of everyone around her.
