I don't know much about what line my family comes from, but I always remember that my parents said we had to hide. Until they made me run. That was when I was 7. I haven't seen them for 10 years.
I'm still running. Running for your whole life will change you, in more then one way. You lose trust in everyone and everything around you. On constant alert that something can go wrong. Yet, there is one thing that won't change. Hope. Sometimes I feel as if the world is telling me to give up, but hope is always there whispering for me to keep trying. There was more than one reason I was on the run and hiding from everyone supposedly. But I never learned any of those reasons. All I know is what my name is, and what I am. A werewolf.
My name is Oakland Renegade. I am 17 years old.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
In my wolf form I have midnight black fur that has hints of blue when you look at it in the sun, and my eyes are snow white. From the other wolves I have seen from a distance, I know I'm not like them. Most of them are shades of brown, grey, red, and once in a while you'll see a blondish colored wolf.
I don't like being in my human form much, but that's only because of the stares I get. I don't know what they are staring at half the time, because I know I'm nothing to look at. Most of the time when you look at me, my hair is knotted and I'm covered in dirt. Especially in my wolf form.
I have platinum blonde hair, I'm about 5'9" and I am pale. You would probably think I'm really tan since I'm outside a lot. But nope....I'm white as a ghost. Then there's my eyes. My eyes aren't really ordinary. I found that they were a shining silver. The weird part is that every once in a while they turn colors. For example, if I get mad they will turn into a smokey redish black color or every once in a while they'll get swirls of gold in them. I don't know why though.
---------10 Years Ago---------
"Oakland, it's time to get up sweetheart. I know you didn't get much sleep, but we have to hurry!" my mother whispered.
My eyes shot open only to see my mother next to me and my father glancing around with ice cold eyes.
"Its too late Rain, they're already too close." My father whispered turning to my mother with anger in his eyes that slowly turned into hope.
"I'm sure she can do it. They can follow us and not her, she doesn't have a scent yet."
Getting up as fast s I could, I shoved my jacket on, and grabbed my mothers hand only to have her pull hers away.
Kneeling down, she stared in my eyes. I could see love, worry, and sadness filling hers.
"Oakland, we need you to run away, as fast as you can. I don't want you to look back no matter what you hear, ok? Can you do that for me honey?" she said as she buttoned up my coat.
"Ok mommy, I promise...are you and daddy coming with?"
"No, but you must remember everything we taught you and that we love you very, very much." She gave me a quick kiss on the cheek. While my dad gave me a hug. You could hear the barks and growls of wolves getting closer.
"You have to go now Oakland! GO!" my dad yelled. So I sprinted off in the opposite direction of the growls. Hearing a ripping noise I hear a loud and furious growl. Only to be followed by a pain filled whines. Then silence.
"We're coming to get you little one! Watch your back, cause we won't stop until we find you!" That was the last thing I heard for the next few days.
Silent tears would run down my face, but I would wipe them away to keep myself strong. That is the way it would be for now on...just myself to trust.

I know its short but it should be alright for right now. Vote and comment for ideas!!!! Thanks
