Moving Past This

I ran down the field.

"SCORE!!! ELIZABETH WINS THE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!"

I laughed.

"THE CROWED GOES WILD!!"

"Stop!" I screamed.

"AHHHHHHH ELIZABETH!"

"I said stop." I laughed some more.

He picked me up and put my on his shoulder.

"Put me down Jacob!"
 I couldn't stop laughing.

He then put me down on the ground and we were both in the grass laughing.

"I hate you." I laughed close to his face.

"No you don't."

He then kissed me.

"I love you." he said.

That was the first time Jacob said he loved me.

Jacob is my boyfriend. We've been together for 4 months now.

"I love you too."

We then kissed again and I heard a loud engine go off.

I got myself up on my so I was still on the ground. I saw the mustang drive by.

I looked closer. I got more alert and sat up more.

"What is it Elizabeth?" Jacob asked.

"I know that mustang."  I got up and started running.

I was so close when it had to go past the corner. But I missed him.

How could I forget that mustang? It was him. It was Jason. Jason McCann.

"You know that person?" Jacob asked

"I thought I did. I guess not. They would've stopped."

"Its getting late babe, let me take you home."

"No, its fine, Jacob. I can walk."

"Please let me bring you home."

"Its just down the road."

"I don't like you walking in the woods late at night." he said rubbing my arm

"I'm a big girl Jacob."

I went and grabbed my bag and headed towards the woods that lead to my house.

As I was walking I was texting my friends in the group chat.

They were all planing on going out to dinner before the next game.

I was walking when I heard steps behind me.

I looked behind and saw no one. I kept walking and heard them again. I started to walk faster now getting creep out. I heard them. I then started to run.

"Hey!" I heard a male voice.

"Stop! Please! Leave me alone!"

I was then pushed down and started to scream. My mouth was then covered and I came eye to eyes with the prettiest brown eyes.

"Jason?" I whispered.

"God. I get to see you one time and you run from me!" He said getting off me helping me up.

"What are you doing here?"

"Doesn't matter. So tell me whos that guy?" He asked leaning against a tree.

"My friend."

"Boyfriend?" He asked raising eyebrows.

"Yes." I said softly.

"You got a boyfriend?!"

I couldn't look at him.

"I'm happy for you Elizabeth. I was hoping you would move on."

I looked at him confused.

"Your not mad?"

"No! I'm happy for you."

"Oh. Thanks Jason."

"Yeah, Selena and I are expecting our first baby."

I almost fell over at the words that came out of his mouth.

"Oh. Are you happy about that?"

"Well yeah! I've always wanted to be a Dad."

"Well I'm happy for you Jason."

"Thank you."

"Well I gotta go. I have to get home. It was nice seeing you."

"Yeah. You too Liz."

I then picked my things up and started home.

Jason's POV

I can't believe she found someone. I can't believe she got a boyfriend. I'm the only guy in her life. I watched her walk away. It killed me to see her leave. I hate watching her walk away. She's not mine. And she doesn't think I'm hers. I lied to her. I wanted to hurt her. I wanted her sad like me. Selena is not pregnant. Selena isn't even around anymore. Shes dead.

I killed her. 

I just came back for Elizabeth.
