It was 8:00 pm. The sky started turning BEAUTIFUL shades of purple and blue. I smiled while holding a huge stuffed unicorn that Grayson won for me. Grayson looked like a 7 year old boy while wearing a balloon hat and holding a balloon sword. He was chewing on a churro while we were walking on the beach.

Today was the best day, ever. We started getting tired so we sat on the beach. I leaned my head on Grayson's shoulder.

"I had so much fun today" I said while yawning.

He kissed my forehead.

"Me too princess, me too."

I was just about to drift off when the words he said processed through my mind. I sprung up.

"Did you just call me princess?!?!" I asked

He quickly got up looking startled. "Um, no! I-I didn't! W-why w-w-would you think s-so?!?! I mean we aren't d-dating so"
"Y-yea." I said looking glum. Things got awkward fast as we both stared out at the waves crashing on shore.
This is stupid. You clearly have feelings for Grayson. Plus y'all just danced all night yesterday and made out in his car!! And he kissed you on the head.Just tell him! I looked up at Grayson. What if IF doesn't like me? Ugh yolo.

"Grayson?"
He looked at me lie he was expecting me to say something.
"Yes?"

"Promise you won't get mad at me? Or make things awkward after this?"

"Promise."

Grayson POV

Omg. She was going to do it! I knew it! I love her so much. And it would be a dream come true for her to be my girlfriend. Wait? Hold up? Isn't the guy supposed to ask the girl out? I  interrupted Piper quickly before she could say anything.

"Piper I also have to tell you something."

"What?"

Piper POV

He probably doesn't like me. We were drunk anyways last night

If I guy ever says "I have to tell you something" it's usually something bad. So before he could crush my heart and tell me he already had a girlfriend and all that crap I interrupted him.

"Grayson can I just finish what I was about to say."

Grayson POV

Ugh, just let the girl talk.

"K tell me then"

She looked in my eyes and I looked in hers. We started leaning closer and my lips started to tingle.

"Grayson..."

"Yes Piper..." I tried to say in my manliest voice

"Grayson..."

"Yes..."

We were just an inch apart.

"Grayson...... You have some churro in your tooth."
