A groan escapes my mouth as I wake up from my dead sleep. The sunlight breaks through my curtains and I shove my head into my pillow to soften the light. When I feel I've waken up enough I turn over onto my back and gather the motivation to sit up. I finally have to when I realize that I have 10 minutes to get up and get ready for school. This is a very usual thing though. I tend to ignore my alarm clock. I hop out of bed and quickly change into my binder. I scour my closet for a shirt and I find an old cross country one that I throw on then I grab my blue cross country sweatshirt. I walk out my door then I realized I forgot my fucking pants cause I'm a dipwad. After running back to my room I pull my pants on as I'm running down the stairs. Then I grab my bag off the floor behind the counter and make my way to the door.
"Dakota wait." Well damn that would be my mom. "I have a list for you to do when you get home later. I'm gonna be out spinning and I want it done before I get home." I nod my head and walk out the door before she can say anything more about it. I get in my car and drive to school. When I get there I have enough time to watch the end of a movie with Palmer.

First hour was in the computer lab because we are working on a 3 week long partner English project that needs to be all typed out. The teacher, Mrs. Lovegood, had the tendency to not let us pick our own partners and instead just pair us up according to how well she thinks we'd work with a specific person. We have to stand by the door as she calls out names. I sip on the coffee I bought from the school earlier this morning and wait for my name.
"Jerry and Bizzy. And lastly Dakota and Dylan." I get knocked out of my unfocused mind set and stare wide eyed at Mrs. Lovegood in shock. Oh fuck I'm paired with Dylan. I'm gonna make a complete fool out of myself.
"So Dakota we meet again." I spin around quickly and face Dylan. They have a cute little smile on their face when they say this. I, though, still have the stupid shocked look on my face and I probably look like an idiot. "Come on there are no computers left in here we'll have to go into the library." I nob my head and I swear when Dylan grabs my wrist and pulls me toward the door into the library I feel like there is electricity in the air. When we get to the computers we sit next to each other and log on.
"So where are we going to start." I try to say it without making my voice crack and it actually works for once.
"I was thinking we could start with figuring out what exactly our project is on." Shit right we have to pick a topic. My brain is all out of whack. I look over at them and they're shaking. "Does it seem a bit cold in here to you?" I was actually feeling a bit warm. I pull my sweatshirt up over my head and go to hand it to Dylan but I notice they are staring at my stomach where my shirt had come up. I quickly adjust my shirt then proceed to offer my sweatshirt to Dylan.
"Here wear it I'm kinda warm actually." They look at me surprised and they start to shake their head a bit.
"Are you sure? I mean don't you want it in case you get cold later or something." I push the sweatshirt more towards Dylan
"I'm sure take it. I was too warm with it on." They take it with a little hesitation but then they put it on and I think they might have smelled my sweatshirt before putting it on. I laugh a little and Dylan looks over at me.
"What?" They tilt there head a little and scrunch their eyebrows together in a look of confusion. It was super frickin cute.
"Did you just sniff my sweatshirt?" I have a little smirk on my face when I say this. Dylan looks puzzled for a little longer then their eyes widen and they blush a little then look away.
"Maybe.." At this point Dylan's face turned bright red and they refused to look at me. I personally do that too but I could tell the sat Dylan was embarrassed by this action. I thought it was kinda cute though so it's fine.
