I was in school talking to my boyfriend Arron when our teacher said we would be holding a mock election. Arron looked at me jumping in his seat like a child " Nathan! You should run, you would be an awesome president and I would get the be your first man!" I laugh at his childish behavior agreeing with his nonsense. Our teacher splits us up into two party's the democrats and republicans, sadly my love was separated from me. I smiled seeing that Arron had some friends in the group. I join my group and make small chit chat with my friend Faith. My teacher walks up to us and tells us that we are the democrats and we need to pick four different representatives. Faith and I both volunteered as long as two other people. The teacher called us together to the front and the students who weren't apart of the election sat down. I look over at my competitors to see Arron smiling cheekily at me, I sigh just shaking my head at the cute brown haired boy. My teacher goes and ask us random questions about politics and our opinions on Isis and other things like that. Finally came the question why should we vote for you. Arron was the first to reply with "If you don't vote for me, I'll murder you!" We all laugh at his childish behavior as we both make eye contact before Mrs.Melody tells us to go to a table in the side of the room to vote for someone in your party. Arron runs up to me smiling as we both write down the names of who we vote for. I watch as Arron goes back to his group when Melody tells us that the winners where Tayln and I, and that we need to go talk to our classmates asking for votes. I walk up to these two mysteriously quite girls in my class, sky and Bre. I smile at them and ask if they'd vote for me which Sky replied with they would and shook my hand. I tell her that if she had been running I would've voted for her and that brings a smile to her face and she nods then goes back to talking to Bre about whatever they where talking about before. After around thirteen minutes we all gathered for the next debate. Tayln and I both go into the front of the room as Melody starts to ask question. Finally I was asked the question I was dreading since I can't let anyone know. "Mr.Nathan what is your opinion on gay marriage?" I sigh my face flushing very lightly' "Well since my party agrees with.." Before I could finish Arron runs up to the front of the class and jumps on my back. I blush as Arron just laughs along with the class. Being flustered I tell him to stop riding me, then realizing what I said my face becomes as red as a tomato and face the wall. I feel Arron jump off my back his face red also with all the commotion of the class laughing and Melody trying to calm them down he sneaks a peck on my cheek as he runs to sit down. I cough and get the classes attention "Sorry about that! As I was saying since my party agrees with gay marriage I support it." We carry on with the questions and when it ends Melody tells us to vote and write down either T for Tayln or N for Nathan. After everyone has voted we all sit down waiting for the teacher to tally up the score. "The new president is Nathan!" Everyone claps as my handsome boyfriend gives me a hug. I'd say I had a good day at school!
