My day off

I've been tested, recalibrated and tested again. They say I can run, jump, and crawl with my new leg, I can go a steady running speed and go a little faster if I push it. so today they let me move around the town, with a few stipulations. I can go as long as I wear a cloak and mask to hide my identity. The police are after me for reasons I really don't understand. For the day I am to be alone, as having Dungus, Gage, and myself in one spot will attract too much attention.

When I walked out of the hospital there were very..... questionable.. people there. Like Batman, the Joker playing card, a tree with a ax in it, a half zombie half skeleton thing, and a fat pink star fish licking ice cream cone, from the corner of my eye I saw Convela going into a room right next to where I was put.

Wait... Convela going into a room right next to where I was put?!

'Where is she going?'

After some debate I walked over to the room next to her. A Doctor was stationed outside, and I could of sworn he was a enderman.

Oh well.

I snuck past him, and slipping into the room, I saw Convela kneeling next to a bed. She suddenly looked back as I ducked into the closet near by. As she surveyed the room she turned back to the bed.

I got a better view when peeking through a cracked, there was a woman that looked as though she was in her late 50's Convela was talking to her.

"Mom I met Evan and Gage in this hospital, isn't it exciting". She remarked in a high voice jumping up and down. The woman in the bed smiled a bright smile she held her hand and looked into Convela's eyes, her smile started to fade away.

"T-T-the doctors say I d-don't have long". Her voice was shaken she was trying not to cry. Convela was holding back tears as well. I needed to move I shouldn't be here, so I snuck out. I walked out of the hospital where I found Joe outside he ran up to me holding a pouch in his hand

"Me and Cody but mostly me chipped in and got you some pocket money". He said with a cheerful smile, "oh right and here's this" he handed me a map of Atlantis "this should help you get around". As I looked at the map I saw 6 red X's

"Hey um Joe what are those" i said pointing to the map.

"Those are places you need to avoid, they are watched by the police force"! He started to walk away but turned around and ran back to me "also come visit me at the palace, Right about here". He said pointing to the map.

I went to the market there were many booths and shops. I passed a little kid selling ice cream cones, and had a wonderful experience it was amazingly delicious. As I went down the line of shops I came across a weapons shop. I needed a new blade because the police took my other one. I looked through rows and rows of weapons some impressive and some not as good, but not my kind of sword as I was about to walk out the door I passed a box I had a strange call to me. I opened it and found a rusted and broken sword.The store owner walked up to me, he was a older man with a black apron and glasses the size of his face.

"Aw, that sword you don't want it, you will like this sword much better". He went to the back and got a black iron great sword. Excellent workmanship, but it's not the sword to go.

"Made by the dwarfs in the Lonely Mountains above ground, you can't get a sword like this anywhere in Atlantis"! He screamed with the utmost certainty that I will buy it.

"No, I'm sorry but I have a feeling this sword will save my life one day". I replied

The store owner looked dumbfounded and taken back. He looked down.

"Listen here I will give you that sword and a scabbard for free but at least look at this sword, please". He looked desperate to seal this sword. I took it from, my arm instantly dropped this sword was very heavy as I struggled to get it on my shoulder. How the heck did this old guy lift up this sword without breaking a sweat.

"So do you like it". He said

"No, I'm sorry it's just to heavy". His face turned into a frown very fast. And mumbled something under his breath. While he was having his moment, I went to touch the rusted sword, my hand inched closer and closer until I touched it. The sword flew out of the case and collided with the great sword it fused and twisted with a bright flash of light. As it rested back into my hand as a black iron long sword the shop owners jaw dropped. Than wiped his eyes and looked again, he looked one second closer to a heart attack. He cleared his throat and said

"Poseidon forbid I am a man of my word, that sword is yours. Bit that iron greatsword isn't now that will be 36 iron coins. I walked out of the shop with the new sword and scabbard and went on my way to the hospital. I looked down at my new sword and not looking where I was going I bumped into someone.

"So so sorry I wasn't..." As I got a good look at their face and clothes I soon learned this is what the police officers wore. I went to run away as they grabbed me and pointed a gun to my stomach, locked and loaded I couldn't get my sword before he shot me so I touched him hoping to push him away. As I did a spell circle appeared shooting a ice blast and froze him in a mini iceberg, this was bad people started to notice me. I needed to go to the palace Joe might be able to help me out of this. I need to get out of the market before, uh oh.
