Chapter 2: Wake Up, Elli!
Elliot's 3rd Person View
She was sinking... falling... she was going nowhere. Blackness surrounded her as she plummeted down the hole.
"I don't enjoy this. Not one bit," she thought, mentally crossing her arms. "Why am I here AGAIN? I haven't violated any rules, have I?"
Finally, she hit rock bottom.
As soon as she stood up, a voice boomed from everywhere. "ELLIOT ARALYN McCAULEY! YOU HAVE BROKEN RULE 342! NEVER SPEAK OF AN UPCOMING WAR!"
"Sorry, Mister Seer," she muttered.
"SORRY WILL NOT FIX THE DAMAGE DONE! I THOUGHT YOU'D LEARNED YOUR LESSON!?!"
Elliot got extremely angry at this. "The first and last time I was here, all you wanted were those chocolate muffins you like!"
The Seer got even angrier than Elliot. "YOU ALSO KNOW RULE NUMBER 1! NEVER SMARTMOUTH THE SEER OF SALEM!"
When when you pushed the Seer's buttons, he referred to himself as the Seer of Salem, his real title. He had been one of the most noted Seers in the history of wizardry. When he was supposedly "burned" in 1773, his spirit and being became the guide for the other seers.
"They needed guidance!" she exclaimed, "So I gave it. May I go now?"
"You may. But know that you're not off the hook!"
The air swirled around Elliot once more and she found herself on the table, her friends shaking her and screaming, "WAKE UP, ELLI!"
