Chapter 4

Socks was slashing his paws as hard as he could to try and swim until he got up to the surface, "HELP!" He called as soon as he got enough air slashing his paws till they hurt, he just gave up, and accepted his fate.
"SOCKS! SOCKS ARE YOU OK? Socks!"Tiny yells as she starts to feel tears in her eyes drop down her face and on to the ground. Suddenly socks woke up throughing out the water in his mouth he caught while he was calling for help, "wa.....what happen.......why am I........st....still alive....." Socks said as he tried to get up but tiny just pushed him straight back down "Stop socks, you need to rest"
"Yes, you should, we didn't mean for the lake to be that deep" leafstar says walking up to socks
"You know socks, you have the ambition of a warrior, and tiny you have the confidence of a Medcine cat, if you would like, you can come to our camp but we must say one more thing"leafstar says as she looks over to Brownstripe, "Brambleclan need more warriors from the threat of cloudclan if our clan is to survive, recently we have had a battle with cloudclan and have lost 2 of our warriors, goldenheart and shrewfur, but we also lost 1 Aprentess, Sorrelpaw. Form this Fate Brambleclan has been in danger" Brownstripe describes
Was he trying to say he NEEDS us?

"What we're saying is, if you are willing to join, we will take you into our camp, if you say yes, socks you will train as an Aprentess to get your warrior name and become a warrior, tiny you will be trained a medicine cat and know everything about helping the cats that need help and know about lots of different herbs" Leafstar says as she looks down at me and tiny, she says that and I suddenly feel alive, and free, tiny's eyes are gleaming with excitement, we look at each other and nod, "we would be happy to join Brambleclan Leafstar" tiny says as tiny and I bow down, when I life my head up mistypaw has a slint of hatred in his eyes

"But...but...there kittypets, there not clan-born" mistypaw yowled as Brownstripe hushed him with a flick of his tail
"That's now way to greet your new clan mates" Brownstripe says as the cats walk off into the forest, the forest cats were fast and hardly made a sound while they were walking, while tiny and me where trailing behind slowly.

Leafstar lead the way into a gorse tunnel and me and tiny through it at gasped at the well kept camp, socks saw lots of cats, more than the humans, or two legs they called it as he heard from dawnpaw, Leafstar went into a hole in a rock,mistypaw and dawnpaw went to go into a den, while Brownstripe showed tiny and me around.

"All cats old enough to catch there own prey, please gather benith the high rock for a clan meating" Leafstar's voice trailed around the clearing and Brownstripe had just finished there tour, when she Called the meating she signalled for tiny and I to come over
"These two kittypets have proved there right to be here and have been very courageous and out of what I expected when me and Brownstripe Set an opstical corse for them, I have disided to make them Aprentesses" Leafstar cleared to all the cats, murmuring broke around the clearing, " socks, you are courageous and strong, do you with to join this clan and up hold the warrior code?" Leafstar says from the high rock
"I do" socks responds
"Then until you have got your warrior name, you shall be named Gingerpaw, your mentor shall be oceanshine, oceanshine you have been my deputy for many moons and now I wish for you to take your next apprentice"Leafstar spoke to the cats
"Tiny, you are strong and smart, do you wish to join this clan and up hold the warrior code?" Leafstar yowled from the high rock
"I do" tiny spoke with a gleam in her eyes
"Then until you have got your warrior name you shall be called Snowpaw, your mentor shall be trailfur, trailfur you are a gifted medicine cat and I think it is time you took an apprentice" Leafstar says from the top of the high rock as gingerpaw and Snowpaw run off to there new mentors
"Gingerpaw,Snowpaw,Gingerpaw,Snowpaw!" The clan yelled as the sun started to set and Leafstar jumped off of her rock.

Ok it has been AGES! But I'm back and I'm working on Leafstar's prophesy and plus IM UP TO BOOK 2 OF SERIES 2 IN WARRIOR CATS :D
