Before "they" came, New Onyx was a quiet, remote little city in the middle of reach...it wasn't the biggest of countries, or the wealthiest but it was nice, barely heard of any trouble and if you did it was just teenagers spray painting buildings with their names or making noise and waking up old wrinkle bollocks john before getting an earful off of him.
Yeah...it was a nice place.....was...then "they" appeared...oh i just remembered, i haven't even told you what "they" are have I?
Well...where can i start...they're 8 feet tall...four arms and most carry machine guns with them...but not all...some, you cant even tell they're there.. You see, they have this cloaking ability, if they stay in the same spot for more than 10 minutes then they can go invisible! That is the snipers skill only....the..brutes shall we say are dumb and slow creatures that attack you full on without question.... What they lack in brains they certainly make up for in Brawns...we call them the flood because there are fucking HUNDREDS of them! Now! I know what your thinking at this point.."this sounds like halo!" Well i cam assure you..it is not....
They day "they" came was horrible. There were these huge round..disk looking objects that just covered the sky and one by one you could see ships detaching off it.
There must have been over a thousand ships on each one!...when we realised what we were up against we called in for some help from the other countries but it seemed that there was some sort of E.M.P coming from the ship so we had no contact with the outside world...we were on our own.
The flood started killing off everyone one by one until there were only a few survivors left who armed them selves with weapons they had found on the bodies of the dead military... There were 7 groups that were separated throughout reach...each one being hunted by this alien race..until....there were only 2 groups left...the only reason they were still alive was because they had found as many supplies as they could find and went into hiding...until now.
