The first time i saw her i knew she was the one.
It was the 16th of July... School prom when i first saw her....she was beautiful....the only one who caught my eye the whole night was her.
Her name? Well i can never forget that..it was Emilia Henderson..well...that's what it used to be when i knew her i don't know what it is now. She is around the same age as me so she must be 38 by now....she's probably married to some guy and has a kid with him by now and me...I'm just sitting in my house waiting for my inevitable death...i have the same routine everyday....wake up, go to work. Come home, sit and watch TV, sleep....but not anymore..I want something else...I want to find Emilia and tell her how i felt that day.

"What do you want? Its...HALF PAST FOUR IN THE FUCKING MORNING!! It better be important!"
"It is....do you still talk to Emilia?"
"Not much...why?"
"Do you know where she lives?"
"Urh..yeah...i think she still lives in her parents old apartment in Illinois"
"Ok thanks mate..hey listen do you fancy going for drinks sometime?"
"Yeah sure now piss off so i can sleep"

Finally things seemed to turn for the better for me...now...time to drive to Illinois. Just as i get in the car i turn the ignition and i see the check engine light, so i flip the bonnet and oil just spurts out at me.
"Oh this is just fucking perfect isn't it!"
Guess its a cab for me.
Just as i go to call for a cab i notice something in my phone....Emilia's phone number is still in my phone.
In a panic kind of state i instantly ring it.
"Im sorry but the number you have tried to call is disengaged"
"Great"
Time to ring a cab i guess. When the cab finally gets here i get in it and ask the driver to drive me to a certain location....he then said a price...my heart sank i to my shoes.
"That will cost $250"
"HOW MUCH?"
"$250"
Well....guess that new ps4 will have to wait
"Ok just drive please"
As we get to Illinois i start to panic and question what im doing...what if she doesnt recognise me or even remember me at all?
No! Im here and i will do this!...just as we pull up outside her house i see a curtain move...Yes! Shes home.
Just as I go to knock on the door it opens...there she is...just as beautiful as last time.
"Hello? Who are you?"
"Dont you remember me?
" wait?.....peter? Peter parkinson from school?"
"So you do remember me them Emilia?"
"OMG how are you? Come in have a cup of tea"
"Okay!"
Just as i set foot into the house my heart starts beating faster and faster and faster.
"Are you ok? You dont look to good?"
Oh great...i find her again and i feel like im......
Blackness is all i see
When i finally see again im in a hospital bed with all this...machinery attached to me...but...out of all i can see....i see her again..crying into her hands
"E..em....Emelia?"
"OMG YOUR AWAKE!"
"Yeah...what happened?
" You walked into my house and just collapsed"
"I...I collapsed?"
"Yeah so i immediately phoned for an ambulance"
"What did the doctors say?"
Emilia starts starts crying uncontrollably and wraps her arms around me
"Hey...what's wrong?"
"The doctors..they...they diagnosed you with a tumor on the brain'
" what does that mean?"
"It means you only have a few years to live"
"Huh...a few years aye?"
"Yes"
" hey Emilia... Do you..you know...have anyone to be with instead?"
"what...like..a partner?"
"Yeah"
"No i dont...why?"
My heart started racing and she knew and then clicked on
"You....are you asking me out?"
"Not directly but.....will you go on a date with me and see how it leads from there?"
".....yes...yes i will!"

After a few weeks in hospital i get the all clear to leave and immediately head for Emilias house.
When i get there i see some bloke enter her house and i rush to the door and knock frantically.
When she answers she looks panicked.
"I need your help like...Right now!"
"O...okay"
As i enter her house i notice the mam that walked in was an officer in uniform...
"Excuse me sir but i was made aware that your Ms Hendersons partner?"
Wait....parnter? What has she told them?
"Uhh yes sir i am"
I just lied to am officer of the law.....
" can you confirm where your partner was on the 17th of july?
"Urm...yes i can, she was at the hospital with me as i got rushed in due to a tumor on my brain"
"Ok sir that is all thank you and im sorry sorry to hear about the tumor"
Why did he want to know?
When he left i immediately turned to Emilia who wrapped her arms around me and said thank you..
Thank you?...why was she saying that?
"Its ok but...was he here?"
"There was a murder last week in Oklahoma and...well....it was someone i know...we know"

My heart raced and i couldnt stand no more and collapsed
When i came through i was on the couch with emilia holding my hand then i remembered what she told me.
"We HAVE to go see if its actually him!"
"O..ok"
As we headed for Oklahoma emilia noticed some blood dripping from my ear
"Peter!"
I couldnt hear her
"PETER" she screamed
She then nudged me and all i could remember was looking at her and then ghe world spinning and going black
When i came to again i was in yet another hospital
"Wha...what happened?"
I couldn't hear myself and i started to panick!
"Why cant i hear myself and where am i???"
I then noticed emilia in the room..eyes wide and tears streaming down her cheeks.
I then noticed a clipboard at the end of my bed....as i grabbed it and started to read i noticed it said
"Years left to live 0 years 4 months"
I dropped the clipboard and just stared at emilia who at this point was making a river with her tears
"Will you marry me?"
"Wh..wha...what?"
I red her lips
"Will you marry me? I know i only have a few months to live but i want them to be with you"
"Y...y...yes...yes i will" she lipped
2 months went by and emilia turned around and suddenly lipped...
"Im pregnant"
"WHAT?"
"Im...im pregnant with out child"
I had the biggest smile on my face but then came the realisation of it....the child will grow up with no father figure....i burst into tears
"Whats wrong?"
"It wont have a father that's whats wrong"
Another month went by and we were getting scared...its nearly time and i wanted to be with my family so i rang my parents to get here urgently....
Two hours later there was a knock at the door...it was mom and dad....
"Whats wrong son?"
I started signing...they couldnt understand so i said
"Im dying"
They both looked at each other then me
"How whats wrong why havent you told us earlier???"
Just as i was explaining i started to feel a little light beaded and emilia noticed so she immediately wrung the hospital

Three days went passed until i awoke
I noticed all my family where there....my mother..father..brothers and sisters...but....no emelia...i asked them where she was but all i could get was weird looks as if to they were saying who?
I tried to get up but i couldn't... Then i saw her in the corner of the room....i called for her and she came to my side....then i looked at the date on the chart......i was in a coma for 3 months.....i was then told that emilia had died....the day after i saw her....i didnt belive it....
Then...blood..and lots of it...then...blackness..my friend came back...
