(Part 1)
I'm Fujiwara Yui.
Right now, my son and daughter are trapped in a death game.
As a game designer, I don't uunderstand how did this happen.
The company that made this game, IBM didn't know about this.
They can't even shut down the servers.
Right now, the government is hiring hackers to hack into the server and take down the server.

I'm doing my own research.
Who or what is causing this?
And what's the purpose?
Maybe even government is in all this.
Maybe they're doing some kind of experiment.
Or maybe it's a group of hackers behind all this.

Today is still the first day so there's still no player died yet.
But that's just a matter of time.
I took out my phone.

*Ringing*

"Hello?"(???)
"Kazuma. It's me."(Yui)
"Oh, Fujiwara. How's your kids?"(Kazuma)
"They're fine. For now."(Yui)
"I see. By the way, I did what you told me to do."(Kazuma)
"Thanks. Send me the result later."(Yui)
"I sent it already."(Kazuma)
"Got it. I really appreciate it."(Yui)
"Don't be. Anything for an old friend. Well then, see you later."(Kazuma)
"Yeah."(Yui)

That was Kinoshita Kazuma(木下和馬).
An old friend of mine.
He was trying to hack my game and I caught him.
That's how I met him.
I told him to give me the namelist of everyone responsible for Lost Raid Online.
Including the staffs and sponsors.

I need to find out what's going on.
And I need a team for it.

In a maid café in Akihabara.

"Welcome, mistress. Please take a seat."(Maid)
"Thank you. I'm looking for my friends. Are they here yet?"(Yui)
"Is it those masters over there?"(Maid)

She points at that 2 man sitting awkwardly at the corner.

"Yeah, that's them."(Yui)

I walk towards them.

"You're late, Yui."(???)
"I'm sorry. I was busy."(Yui)
"Busy what? Buying eroge again?"(Kazuma)
"I have normal Galge too this time."(Yui)
"(Sigh) How come you're a mother of two kids? I mean what mother goes to Akihabara and buys eroge and galge."(???)
"I don't to be told that by someone who told us to gather in a maid café."(Yui)
"Well..."(???)
"Anyway, let's start the meeting. Mitsuki-san, did you check the namelist I sent you?"(Kazuma)
"Yeah."(???)

This here is Mitsuki Ikuto(光希郁人).
You can say he's my childhood friend.
He's quite smart and always aced his tests but now he's just a NEET.
I call him Nii-san by the way.

"Nii-san, what do you think?"(Yui)
"Well, I got 3 suspects."(Ikuto)

IBM CEO.

Kurosaki Ryuuta.(黒崎隆太)
Best beta player but didn't buy the official game for some reason.

Kaizaki Nanami.(海崎奈南)
The chief developer of Lost Raid Online.

"Let's see. We can't get to the CEO without appointments."(Kazuma)
"The chief developer disappeared after the game was launched."(Ikuto)
"Well then, what are we waiting for?"(Yui)

We're at Kurosaki Ryuuta's house.
He's the only one we can reach out to so we decided to give him a visit.

The door opened and a woman in her 50's came out.

"We're looking for Kurosaki Ryuuta. Is he here?"(Yui)
"We have nothing to say to you journalists. Go back!"(???)
"We are not journalists. I'm one of Lost Raid Online's victims mother."(Yui)
"O-Oh."(???)

*Knock*
*Knock*

There's knocking sounds coming from the windows upstairs.

"It seems my son wants to talk to you. Please come in."(???)

We went inside.
We sat down and the woman gave us tea.

"Please enjoy."(???)
"Thank you."(Yui)

Then, a boy came from upstairs.
He looked......
Tired.
Unstable.

"You are-"(Kazuma)
"Yes. I'm Kurosaki Ryuuta."(Ryuuta)

He sat right next to us.

"So, you're a victim's mother?"(Ryuuta)
"Yes. My son and daughter are trapped in the game."(Yui)
"Do they play MMORPGs often?"(Ryuuta)
"Yes."(Yui)
"Then, they'll survive. For now."(Ryuuta)

There's no life in his eyes.
I wonder what did he experience till now.

"I don't want to waste any time so let me ask you, did you know this will happen?"(Ikuto)
"......"(Ryuuta)
"Please. We know it's hard for you but we need answers. 10000 lives are depending on it."(Yui)
"...Very well. Let me tell you a story. The time when I was in the game when it's still in testing phase."(Ryuuta)

I'm sorry this chapter is a little bit short.
I was writing about Ryuuta's story but then I found out it's a little too long so I erased all of that and I will write that in the next chapter which I will quickly update.
