A Fairy Tail Romance: Nalu

Nalu (Natsu's POV)

     "Happy, fly me through this sewer as fast as possible, I think I smell Lucy!"

     "Aye, sir!" Happy said, swooping me up and flying me through the sewer, I used my fire magic as a light so Happy could fly through the narrow tunnel. Then I heard something,"Natsu!" It was Lucy. "Lucy!" I shouted hoping she could hear me. I immediately picked up a scent, it was wood, and I could tell that it was near Lucy, if I could ignite the piece of wood it would give Lucy a light. So I breathed in and started my favorite spell."FIRE DRAGON ROAR!" A red magic circle appeared near my face and fire came from my mouth.

I aimed the fire directly where the smell of wood was coming from,  and I let out all the fire I could from my mouth. Once that was done, I proceeded down the sewer with Happy carrying me, it wasn't long before I heard something, it was a crying sound, it was Lucy. I told Happy to go faster and he did, I also used my fire as boosters, how long is this sewer? And then I saw something, is it Lucy? No. It's an over grown sewer rat, it caught me off guard and knocked Happy and I off our course.

I got up and looked at the annoying creature with piercing eyes."You! You made Lucy cry, no one ever makes Lucy cry! FIRE DRAGON SECRET ART, CRIMSON LOTUS: EXPLODING FLAME BLADE!!"My arms turned into pillars of flames, I spun them around and created long torrents of fire, it hit the rat in a spiral formation and killed it with one hit."Pitiful." I said under my breath. That secret art attack is my strongest attack, there's a high possibility I used up almost all of my magic power, but I don't care. I'll do anything to save my friends. I'll do anything to save Lucy.

So I immediately started back on my course, while Happy was flying me, I was concentrating very hard, so that way I could draw in more Ether Nano from the atmosphere so I could accelerate my magic power regeneration in case I run in to anymore sewer rats. Then I heard and echoing sound, and this time, I knew it was Lucy. Then, only seconds later, I saw her, it was Lucy, and she was crying in the sewer water. I immediately had Happy drop me, and I ran towards her."Natsu." She cried, she was sniffling."Lucy, it's ok I'm here now." I said in a soft voice. We embraced each other and she buried her head in my shoulder. She seemed to calm down almost instantly."Natsu...I...I..." "You what?" I said in a soft voice trying not to sound harsh. "I...I...I" she looked into my eyes, and I looked into hers.

They were as beautiful as ever, and then what she said next nearly paralyzed me."I HATE YOU!! LEAVE!! NOW!!" I think Happy's jaw nearly hit the ground. Lucy's voice sounded deeper than mine and it was demonic.Her eyes started glowing, she was soon floating just above the water, she took out 4 keys. The gate of the bull, water barer, lion, and scorpion, she summoned them all at the same time and commanded them to attack me all at once to create an ultimate attack that put me through the wall. I fixed my gaze so that I could see Lucy, and I saw her, she looked at the ceiling and a magic circle appeared and a giant hole was blasted in the wall. She floated up out of it and I immediately got up and had Happy try to catch up with her.

As I emerged from the hole I was squinting as my eyes made a failed attempt to adjust to the bright sun of which I haven't seen in so long. After my temporary blindness wore off, I started searching for Lucy, but there was no sign of her anywhere. But that didn't stop me, I kept searching and I went as far as the kingdom of Fiore, then I decided to go back to the guild, maybe Levy had a clue about what happened to Lucy. But those chances are slim because she finally started dating Gajeel, and they've been spending every minute of their lives together.
     Rumor has it Levy is pregnant, that would be cool, but it is after all just a rumor. After about a week of traveling, I finally got back to the guild, when I walked in everyone was so happy, and when I asked why they had a very unexpected answer. Turns out Gajeel asked Levy to marry him, and she said yes. This made me very happy, but there was something else, Romeo told me that the rumor was true, Levy was pregnant. With all of the happy energy around, I didn't want to tell them what happened yet, for I didn't want to kill the bad mood.
With this on my mind, I stayed in the back corner of the guild, trying to stay quiet and keep away from all of the commotion. When I lifted my head from my arms, I noticed Gray looming over me. "What do you want Vanilla Ice?" I said in a curious voice. "I just want to talk flames for brains. This is the first time during a party you didn't almost burn down the whole guild hall. And you haven't challenged Erza or Gildarts to a duel. What's going on?" He said. I was genuinely surprised to hear that the one and only Gray Fullbuster actually seemed to care about me. So I responded, but it wasn't the truth of course, "Ever since I became a S Class wizard I've had no desire to fight Erza or Gildarts." "We both know that's no true." He said. " You just challenged them to a duel yesterday. Now, what's actually going on?"
