Chapter 13 This note can hurt you

Garroth's P.O.V

I was waiting  in Lucinda's house, waiting for Aphmau. I simply couldn't live with myself if she got hurt. And on top of that, she finally showed signs of her liking me. I shall wait for her.

3 Weeks Later...

I didn't know what to do with myself. Aphmau still hasn't waken and its been 3 weeks. The whole village has been so supportive, but the fact that the town is without her, we were starting to fall apart. No one has seen Laurance for 2 weeks. All the changes.

"Garroth, I've made dinner for you!" Cadenza calls from downstairs.

Just becuase Aphmau's gone, I will not let the village go down without a fight. I will stay with the village, that's what Aphmau would want.

"Coming!" I walk down the stairs.

"I made your favorite." She smiles.

"Thank you so much, Cadenza."

"No problem, Garroth, I know your going through a very tough time, with all that has happened, to Laurance, to... Aphmau." I shed a tear. "It'll be okay, you can get through this, and if you need me, I'm always here."

"Thank you, Cadenza, now, I think I'm going to check up on the village."

"Okay, Bye!"

"See ya'."

I walked around and talked to a fe people, but I stopped at the gate, for Dante was motioning me to come towards me. I used the latter to get to where he was. His eyes had bags under them. It looked like he'd been awake for days. "Dante...?"

"Garroth," I still have a questionable look on my face, wondering what's the matter, "I-I found this note..." He holds out a a small price of paper, "pinned to the gates."

"We-well what are you waiting for?"

"I've been up for days, Garroth." He looked into my eyes, worried.

"Dante... Why?"

"This note, it's going to hurt you."

"Dante, you need to get some rest, you're not feeling okay..."

"Garroth! Please, I don't want to hurt you, but this is something you need to see."
Dante hands me the note, and with hesitation, I take it, I couldn't believe what I was reading.
