Victoria Rodriguez.
I had just started to do the washing up when my two favourite girls in the whole world had came into the room. They both started talking at the same time. All I heard was them complaining and arguing as they were trying to talk to me. I started laughing but after I told them both to calm down and they did. It surprised me how they actually listened to me at times since they are young.
“Okay, now Carly, you talk first” I told my twelve year old daughter. My other daughter is ten and her names Chelsea. When I named her Chelsea, the reason was because Jack told me how he had always loved the name Chelsea. It made me smile thinking of what he said the day he told me he loved that name. He mentioned how he wanted his daughters name to be that.
"Chelsea decided to hit me with her dumb toy" Carly complained rubbing her arm. I saw that Chelsea was ready to scream in Carly's face but she stayed calm. It's creepy how I know my two little girls so well. No matter what I will always know them better than anyone else and hopefully will get closer with them as they get to the age of fourteen as well. I knew them too well, so I could easily tell if they lie to me or not. Once they both tried to lie a few months ago but I knew they were and since then they told the truth no matter what.
"That is only because you pushed me" Chelsea said frowning before crossing her arms. She then decided to look at me and pout. Chelsea at that moment looked exactly like her father. It was pretty weird but cute at the same time. Both Carly and Chelsea take after their dad, the looks and everything, even if they are girls. They will be like me though, girly yet when they need something they will act completely different just to get what they want or to prove something. A few seconds later they were both arguing and it made me kinda laugh but they shouldn't keep arguing.
"Girls shut up" I said and they both started arguing. I grabbed both of their hands and I pulled them into the living room. "Sit down both of you" I added and they both did as they were told. I sat on the table infront of me and looked at them both. They were so beautiful. I love them so much. "Now Chelsea you shouldn't have hit Carly with your doll-"
"Ha!" Carly laughed in Chelsea's face making me roll my eyes. It annoys me that they can't exactly get along but they are still only young.
"Carly I wasn't finished. And Carly you shouldn't have pushed her. You are both sisters and you should get along, look after each other no matter what, not aruing all the time like you are now" I finished off what I said and they looked at each other. "You need to talk about what you both want and not argue." I added. Then I remembered that in two hours I need to cook their lunch.
"I want a baby brother" Chelsea said.
"Me too" Carly replied after Chelsea and I just stared at them. They have something in common there. They both want a baby brother.. I didn't say anything. The only way they will ever get a brother is if I go and adopt one since I am single and I can not have anymore children for some reason. When I gave birth ton Chelsea the doctor said something happened to my overies and that I can't have anymore children.
"Mummy can we have a baby brother?" They both asked at the same time, they were trying to give me the best puppy dog eyes ever and I just rolled my eyes. I wanted to say yes but nine months pregnancy then giving birth is horrible yet worth it.
"I-"
"Mummy?" Chelsea questioned before I could carry on with what I wanted to say to them both. Honestly I am glad she interrupted me. It saved me from telling them I can't and don't want anymore children at the moment.
"Yes sweetie?" I asked with a smile on my face. I love those two girls more than anything. They are my life. No matter what, they make my day just by me seeing their faces. I couldn't believe I gave birth to them two, I made such beautiful children. Honestly they mean everything and I mean everything to me. They mean more to me than any man except one..
His name is; Jack Riley Rodriguez and he was such an amazing person… He made my day. He was so beautiful. He was a badass who got into trouble yet I saw good in him. He changed my life. He made it interesting and fun. He changed me..
"What was daddy like before he left?" I just stared at her. I remember the day they both questioned me and I decided to tell them he left to look after his sick mother. However, his mum was sick and I said she was in Australia. The real reason why he was never seen again was because the day I was giving birth to Chelsea, he died. That day will always be happy and sad for me. I can never tell the girls when or that he has died yet… I wanted to break down into tears but I didn't. I'm so much stronger now than when he did die.
"Girls your dad was such an amazing person, he may have been a bad kid at school but in my heart he was always a good kid" I grinned. I then sat down on the couch inbetween them both."It all started when I got my first detention.."
