Leo was staring at Minhye through the window. Tears started rolling down Minhye's cheeks as the train's door started to close. She forced herself to smile as she waved her hand mouthing goodbye to Leo. Leo felt so many feelings at once that he didn't know how to express them out, he felt so frustrated. The door then closed completely, the train departed, leaving Leo's view into a blur.
Minhye kept running, as if her legs were working by themselves. She stopped, panting, then continued running, to the most memorable place - a park where Minhye and Leo had always visited.
She sat on a bench, her tears couldn't stop rolling down her cheeks, but she didn't mind. The air smelled familiar to Minhye, the smell of newly mown grass drifted on the lazy breeze. She checked her watch which showed eight past five, she's already five minutes late. Minhye inhaled the fresh air one last time, which did made her felt better, but not much.
Minhye walked with a feeling of emptiness occupying her, as she saw her school's figure getting clearer.
Minhye's POV
"Come in"
I apologized for being late to Ms. Jung. I was ten minutes late, it's my first time, but i just didn't feel guilty at all, what feels more wrong was that Ms. Jung just forgave me so easily.
"Today is your first day of school in this new semester, how can you be late, Minhye? Anyway it's okay, just make sure next time you won't do it anymore", and she quickly continued again, "sooo... because today is a new semester, I guess you'll be sitting with Hongbin", she said as she points to the seat.
Honestly, i didn't even care where i would be sitting at. So i just sat on the empty seat without even taking a glance on my seatmate. Today's the first day of our new semester, in our school, new semester meant new class.
"Hello, my name is Lee Hongbin. Nice to meet you!", he said it as soon as i sat beside him.
Well, not replying him must be too rude, so I only said 'hi' as i took a quick glance at him. He's pretty good looking.
That reminded of when I first met Leo. I remembered that last time i introduced myself to Leo in the park, and he replied me the exact same way as i have replied- wait what was his name again? Lee Hongbin? And since then, Leo and I became really good friends. It was unexpected how our friendship lasted this long, looking at the way how he replied me when we first met.
"Students please answer page 89 on your exercise book."
I took out my new exercise book and labeled my name on it. Warm tears started to fill up my eyes again, a tear rolled down my cheeks and dropped on my book. Seriously why couldn't my eyes stop crying.
"Ooowww!! Park Minhye! Nice name you got there!" Hongbin exclaimed looking at my name.
"By the way, what page did- OH WAIT, ARE YOU CRYING, WHAT HAPPENED?!"
"IT'S PAGE 89! COULD YOU PLEASE STOP ASKING THINGS AND LISTEN TO TEACHER AND STOP BEING SO NOSY?" I groaned.
"Uh...sorry..." he apologized
I really regret sitting here, today must be the worst day ever.
Hongbin's POV
What is wrong with her? I was trying to be nice, introducing myself, and she was literally crying, it's natural that I was shocked and asked if she was okay, but she shouted at me, and said that I was being so nosy? Seriously? I must've been so unlucky that I got to sit with her.
"Hyung ah what happened? Are you daydreaming?" A hand was waving at my sight, which brought me back to reality.
"Oh, it's nothing, just thinking about some stuff." I chuckled.
"Why? What's wrong?" I asked.
"I don't know how to do this one." he answered. Luckily hyuk sat beside me so at least there's someone I could talk to.
"Ah that one. It's like this, first you multiply them, then find the factors, and then insert them here." Hyuk listened carefully as I explained.

The bell rang. It's going home time. Everyone excitedly exited the classroom, but Minhye didn't, she looked so weak and tired, "does she usually go home alone?" I thought, "should I offer her some company?"
But why should I? She just snapped at me, and I didn't want the same thing to happen again.
"Hyung-ah, let's go somewhere and eat." Hyuk said as he closed his locker.
"Alright, let's go." I said.
Minhye's POV
"Minhye! Dinner is done!" my aunt shouted from downstairs.
"It's fine aunt, I'll just eat later!" I shouted back.
I felt refreshed after taking a shower. I thought of texting Leo, forgetting about the difference in our timezones. Leo must be sleeping, it's midnight there, even if I texted him he wouldn't read.
The 'refreshed' feeling started to fade away. I started to feel so tired again. My eyelids felt so heavy, and slowly, I dozed off to sleep.

"Hongbin, who is that girl, is she your girlfriend? I asked worriedly.
"No, she is my cousin. Why?" he said.
"Liar!" I exclaimed and walked away. My steps got bigger and faster.
"Minhye! Wait!" He shouted.
The strong grab on my wrist made me stop. I tried to let go, but the grip was too strong.
"Minhye, what's wrong? Why are you acting like this?" he asked.
He's right, why was I acting like that? What's wrong with me?
"Wait, you are not jealous, are you?" he asked playfully.
I could feel my cheeks heating up. "What are you saying? Of course not, I was just asking." I said as I immediately looked away.
