The knife dug into my thigh like fire, burning, cutting deep. I wanted to yelp, to scream in pain, but it wouldn't do any good.  All I could do was moan in pain as the knife cut into my thigh, deeper each time, with blood gushing out of each cut, I gulped. I clenched my fist and bit my tongue, I was dead, no one could save me now. My white skirt was completely soaked in my blood.  I was breathing hard, each breath a little shorter than the last.  I was drenched in blood from my deep cuts, Blair was laughing at my pain.

"Help!" I cried in a weak raspy whisper, "Help......"

Everything went black. I couldn't see or hear anything.

(2 days before)

"Katie, which one do you like better?" Mara asked. "The red or the blue, better yet, which one do you think Dean will like?"

"I don't know, nor do I care. You're the expert on fashion anyways." I replied in an annoyed tone.

"I know, but I want someone else's opinion." Mara said.

"Well, if your trying to impress Dean, then ask him." I said staring at the screen of my phone without looking up.

"I knew you'd say that, you're impossible, you know that? Anyways I'll just buy the blue one."Mara said.

"I'm you're bestie, not you personal opinion giver." I replied.

"You're ridiculous." Mara said.

"I know, but there isn't anyone I'd rather be ridiculous with than you." I said grinning, but not taking my eyes off my screen.

"Would you quit playing that stupid game on your phone and actually shop with me?" Mara said, annoyed.

"Fine." I said rolling my eyes.

"You up for a party tonight, it's a college one!"Mara asked.

"Now you're speaking my language." I answered excitedly.

   (Later that night)

DING-DONG!

"I'm coming!!" I yelled.

It was Mara who was here to pick me up and take me to the college party.

"Hey girlfriend, that dress is gorgeous! It makes you look 17 again!" Mara said as soon as I opened the door.

" That was 2 years ago, Mara!" I said, blushing a little bit.

I was wearing a black, long sleeved dress that went downcast my knees, but had see through parts onthe arms and stomach.

"We'll lets go!" I exclaimed.

"Okay, okay we will, but first let's take selfie." Mara said.

Mara whipped out her bedazzled iPhoneand snapped like fifty selfies before finally deciding to leave.
