The One You Can Never Have

Highschool Might Not Be That Bad..... SIKE

*Winnie's POV*

Highschool sucks. That's all I gotta say. But I have to tell my story.

So, after the whole meeting at the coffee shop, Peter and I have become close.... even though we haven't met in person since we met at the coffee shop. Thank god we are going to the same high school.

*time skip to the morning of first day*

I woke up to my alarm blaring into my ear. I yawned and rolled out of bed. I turned off the alarm and started to get ready. I put on my skinny jeans, a teal t-shirt with a gold heart on it. I brushed my hair then put my favorite flower crown. I went downstairs and brushed my teeth. "I'm leaving" I walked out the door and started my short walk to school.

I reached the building before I knew it. It was HUGE! I sat on the front steps waiting for Peter. All the sudden I see a boy wearing a beanie, running through the parking lot, while holding a Winnie-the-Pooh stuffed animal. Peter!? "Winnieee!"

He hugged me as soon as he got close enough. That was the tightest hug I had ever have. He looked into my eyes and I stared into his. We were so close we could have kissed. He handed me the Winnie-the-Pooh stuffed animal and I put it in my backpack.

We walked in the building together. We got our schedules and compared them. "We only have ONE class together!" We both whined.

Peter looked at me with his big puppy dog eyes. Winnie glanced at the clock then back at him "Well I have to head to class. Goodbye Peter" I started to walk away. Peter grabbed my hand and pulled me back towards him. He kissed my cheek "Bye Winnie" I blushed "I've gotta get to class"

Peter walked away and I walked to my class. Did he just kiss me? Why? That was random but she enjoyed it. She hoped he would kiss her again.

*time skip to their class together*

Peter had met up with me in the hallway. "So... Pete... what was that kiss about this morning" He smiled "I thought I was kind of sweet.... Woah who is that girl?"

"Her name is Malerie Radi. She was the most popular girl in middle school" I rolled my eyes but he sighed "She sure is pretty" Peter said dazed. Uh oh. He started to walk towards her. "I'll talk to you later Winnie"

Of course. The air head Malerie gets the boy I had a crush on for half the summer. She always had to do something to mess up my life didn't she. All she has to do is breathe and a boy is at her side begging her to date him. I'm sick of it.

And let's just recap today. Boring first day, boy I liked kisses me, then he falls for Ms. Popular. Just what a wonderful first day of school...... NOT!
