Jami's POV

I found him at the park. I walked up to him. "Hey." I said. He looked at me but said nothing. "I'm okay you know." I said. "How could you be? I did something stupid." He replied. "You think I'm not used to it?" I scoffed. "Look, I know they're going ape shit crazy but I honestly don't care. I still see you as one of my best friends." I said. "I just wanted you to go out with me, and I don't know what got over me."

"It's okay, your instincts just got over you. I know it was an honest mistake."

"I'm really sorry." He said

"Shut up, I'm over it. " I smiled and hugged him. "Can I know what you were hiding from me at least?"

"It's pretty embarrassing." He replied and blushed. "It can't be that bad" I cracked a smile.

"Um, I just been.. I was setting a girl okay?"

I laughed, "that's it? That's what you were afraid to tell me? I don't care Liam, go for it." We laughed a bit and walked back to my house.

*LATER*

Jami's POV

"Hey, you okay?" Niall says and sits next to me in my room. Singhar and the rest of the guys were downstairs.

"To be honest, no." I buried my face into his shoulder. He pulls me into a hug.

"You seemed fine earlier." He whispered. "I was just pretending. I mean, i forgive Liam, but it hurt me. I wanted them to think I was over Lucas. But honestly it reminded me so much of him.  I did that to Lucas once, the yelling thing. It didn't end well. I thought the same thing was going to happen." I began to tear up.

"It's okay, it's okay." He said. "Thank you for being at the right time at the right place." I whispered.

"Im always here." He whispers in my ear. I pull away and we look into each others eyes. "Kiss me." He said.

He Leaned in and kissed me. I kissed back.

I pull away even though I enjoyed every second.

"Im sorry." He says and looks down.

"No, it's alright." I said and cracked a little smile.
