Y/N's POV

The sound of my (e/c) heels from my uniform click throughout the empty hallway as I make my way towards the stairs, my thoughts groggy but energetic.

It's been over a month since the incident with Claude, and nothing has happened since-well, besides Sebastian and I, but that's more...casual and not scary like being possessed by the creep of an ex-butler I used to work for. Since then, Sebastian keeps an eye on me like a hawk would to it's newly born, and every now and again, he'll steal a few kisses, never having any time for more.

Sighing at thoughts of Sebastian, I walk down the stairs towards the kitchen, and am greeted by a grinning Sebastian, the other three maids standing side by side in front of him, all looking distressed.

"Good morning (y/n)." Sebastian's silk voice reaches my ears like songbirds, his ruby red eyes illuminating as they meet my (e/c) ones.

The other three turn and quickly bow to me. "Morning (y/n)!" Their voices blending together into one as they speak simultaneously.

I nod to the four of them, a slight grin on my face. "Morning guys." I walk over to where Sebastian is as the other servants turn their attention back to the head butler.

I eye the four, looking between the demon and the three humans on the other side of the island in the middle of the room. "Okay, what happened? It's only 9:00 A.M. so nothing better be on fire." I chuckle a bit, the reference to my first day seeming to lightening the mood.

"Well  you see, Bard and I were in the kitchen while Finny was tending to the garden, and we were preparing Master Ciel's breakfast, when we heard Finny scream. So we went out there, and Finny was standing, so pale as if he had seen a ghost, holding an envelope. Then Mister Sebastian came running out asking what the commotion was. Finny hid the envelope behind his back and we were brought inside. The you came down." Mey-Rin's high pitched voice explains, sweat beading on their foreheads as I see Sebastian give them his signature evil glare, one I'm sure holding enough anger to awake the beast within.

"So what's the problem here?" I ask hesitantly, my hand finding Sebastian's behind the counter and giving it a calming squeeze.

"They won't give me the envelope." Sebastian turns to me, anger still pooling in his eyes, but his demeanor calmer.

I let go of the butler's hand, and walk back around the counter, behind where the other servants are. I go behind Finny, and put my hand underneath his hat, my fingers brushing against the materiel of the envelope.

Pulling it out, I see the three stiffen. I glance down at the envelope, and my whole body freezes, my nerves shooting awake despite my grogginess, as if an electric current was inserted in my veins.

Only one word on the envelope, and I'm already scared. And I bet that was what he planned.

My eyes read the word over and over again until I don't;t recognize the name, but only the face of the man who wrote it.

In Claude's handwriting, a handwriting I would recognize anywhere, is one name- mine.
