I rush outside to give little me a huge hug for helping me.
"Hey mini me where are you hiding." Shes not out here so I go check in my room.
I run up the wodden stairs looking at all the pictures hanging on the wall when I stop at one in particular. It was an old picrure of Caleb. The one we used to take with us on all our trips. I grab it off the wall and smile. Ill take this on our trip to Los Angeles in a few weeks.

I reach my room and mini me isn't there but the letter is on my bed. I pick up the frail piece of paper decorated with the best handwriting I could do when I was nine. I read the last few sentences.
"I wish I could write more but i have to go to gymnastics in a few minutes and I dont even have my leo on yet!" I laugh. I was so silly.
"Well Annie I hope you turned out pretty great. Remember even In the hardest of times that you are an amading person and your child self cares tremendously about you! Love, nine year old Annie."

This was exactly what I needed, some time with my younger self. I walk over to my desk which has school work and clothes sprawld out. After clearing the junk off, I get out a piece of paper and start writing.

"Dear Future Self..."
