chapter 3

"come you need to get ready. we're going to Diagon Alley." my mom says shaking me soft so I wake up.
I groan. "how late is it?" "11 o'clock" my mom answers. "how late are we going?"I ask again. "half past 12." She answers and leaves my room. I get up and get my clothes, black jeans with a white simple shirt. I walk to the bathroom and take a nice warm shower.
"goodmorning love. excited for today?" my dad asks as I walk down the stairs.
"Yes a lot! mom wich house where you actually in?" I ask as I walk to the kitchen.
"Hufflepuff. the best house if you ask me." She smirks to my dad, I smile.
"I can't wait like serious ugghhh." I say and drink my juice and eat my toast.
"so uhh are there a lot students going to Diagon Alley?" I ask a little nervous. "well I think so because the school begins over 2 days." my dad says as he reads the newspaper. I look at the time and I see we have five minutes left so I get my high vans. "are you ready?" asks (I don't know if that is a real word sorry lol) my mom. I spray a little parfum on me and run downstears. "well it is not as if I have a choice but yeah." I say and pull on my jacket.

"woah.." I wisper and my dad chuckles.
"what are you laughing at huh?" I say and smirk. "nothing but we need to get your stuff so hurry up a little, another day you can have a good look." says my dad and smiles as I nod. "so what do we need to get first?" I ask and look to my mom. "well we're gonna do the books at the end because they are a little heavy so we are gonna start with your robes." She says and smiles. We walk towards Madam Malkin's Robes For All Occasions and bloody that is a pretty long name.
"hello dear, you probably want some robes don't you?" a women asks lovely. "Uhm yes." I say unsure. "well no need to be nervous, I'm Madam Malkin and you can come and stand on this step my dear." She says and smiles taking my hand to help me up the step. "We are going to get already some stuff for you we will be right back." my parents say and smile. I nod. "so I don't think you are a first year right? I have never seen you before here." Madam Malkin says and I nod. " I am starting Hogwarts this year because my dad said it was to dangerous but I pleaded him and eventually he gave in so I am starting my 4th year but I had my first 3 years at home." I said as she does some stuff with my arms. "and what is your name my dear?" She asks. "Jasmin Lupin but Jasmin isn't my real first name but my mom and dad used to call me that so I'm used to it now." I say and smile of the memory's with my real mom and dad and brother. "it is a beautiful name but may I ask what your first name is?" She says back and smiles as she is figuring out how long I am.
"Soraya." I say and smile because I actually like my real first name more.
"beautiful, so have you already a house where you want to be in in your mind?" She asks as she is still busy with my legs. "I wouldn't mind much. But the house I really want to be in is Gryffindor but Hufflepuff doesn't sound bad either." I say as I imagine the sorting hat. Ofcourse I know a lot about Hogwarts because I like to read. "Okay almost done dear." She says after a while of standing and chatting. "done." Madam Malkin says proudly and hands me the robes. "and there are your parents love." the women says and points to the window. they wave and my mom walks in to pay. "well you go wait outside with your dad." my mom says and smiles to me as I nod.
I open the door and look towards my dad who is holding a cage with a snow white owl in it with bright blue eyes.
"WHAT OMG DAD BLOODY HELL." I scream and see some people looking at me and I blush. well you see I'm quite shy with new people and random people. "Yes all for yourself." my dad says smiling and hugs me. "omg she or he is beautiful." I say as I put my finger trough the cage trails. I pet the beautiful white owl. "it is a he and it's likes to be petted and stuff like that." says my dad. "so what are you gonna name him?" my dad asks as my mom walks back with the robes. "Oh yeah shit a name. uhh I don't know. maybe uhh moony?" I ask as grinnjng my parents nod. "that sounds great." says my mom and smiles. A few hours later and we have everything except a wand. I got a few stares from a few guys that I didn't know and from two red headed boys who looked exactly like each other. I was quite confused I taught there was something on my face so I asked my mom if there was something on my face but there wasn't. We got in Ollivanders and my mom and dad sat on 2 old cheers. "Uhmm hello?" I ask soft. A old man walks towards us. "ah hello." he says. "Remus, Nymphadora." he says and nods towards them as they smile. Ollivander walks to the loads of boxes and gets one out of them. "12 inches, unicorn hair, goldstone wood." (lol sorry I didn't knew anything better) I gave it a switch and a few boxes fell down. I give the wand back. "Sorry." I mumble. After a few wands he says "this should be it. 11 inches, fenix feather, thorn wood." he says and hands me the wand. I give it a switch and the boxes flew back on its place. "That is your wand Jasmin." Ollivander says and smiles to me. It was a dark dark blue colour what suprised me a little. We paid and said goodbye. "Well we've got everything right?" I ask and I look at the list. "Yes." "There are boys staring at you love." my mom wispers in my ear and I feel my cheeks heet up. "ahaha look at my little girl. she's blushing." my mom laughs teasingly as I blush even more. "mom shh." I laugh, she winks to me and I roll my eyes playfully. "watch out your eyes are gonna roll out some day of all you eye rolls." She laughs as I laugh with her and my dad just simple shakes his head and smiles.
