The day is finally here, moving day. I've spent most of the week cleaning and packing up my room. The endless job made it seem like this day would never come. I look around to see my formally chaotic room completely empty. It's weird not seeing my clothes all over the floor for once. I walk out not being able to bear the sight any longer. I exit my house and find my three best friends; Josie, Kendall, and Grace. standing on my front lawn.
"Make sure to call us everyday, okay?" stated Kendall.
"Yeah, and we better be invited to your wedding," called Josie.
"I'm gonna miss you girls so much," I whine as they cradle me in a tight hug. My mom seperates us by reminding me that we should be on our way to the airport. I quickly hug my mom, planting a kiss on her forehead.
"I'll miss you," I whisper as a single tear slips from my eye. I know I can't hear her voice without falling apart, so I walk over to Ezra.
"Take care of her, Ezra."
"I will, don't worry. Have fun and call as soon as you get there, okay? Don't forget that you'll always my baby sister," he spoke as he gave me a hug.
"We have to go or we will miss our plane," Louis informed. With that I said one last goodbye and hopped into the taxi.
This airplane is huge and sort of intimidating. I've never left California before and I'm sort of worried. Louis catches on to my nervousness and begins to say,
"I know that you love to dance, and my mom's friend owns a studio in London. She is currently looking for more staff; I thought you might want to go check it out."
"Oh my goodness that sounds amazing! Thank you! You know, I never asked what you do for work?"
"Oh you don't know? uh...Well I'm in a band! You have probably heard our music before!"
"What's your band called?"
"One Direction!" He smiled showing off his perfect teeth.
"Hmm... That sounds familiar. But I cant say I know your music off the top of my head or anything." I replied honestly. "Sing me something?"
"You do know we're on a plane, right Stella?"
"I thought you were Mr. Carefree!" I teased him.
"Fine, fine. You win." He threw his hands up in surrender. "Baby you light up my world like nobody else." He began "The way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed, but when you smile at the ground it aint hard to tell, you don't know-oh-oh, you don't know you're beautiful." He sung.
"WOW! That was amazing! You have a great voice" I clapped silently "I have actually heard that before! Some of the girls at my studio back home have talked about your band! I never actually bothered to look you guys up cause I was always busy with my mom, but you guys are like really popular, arent you?"
"I guess you could say that" He replied with a cheeky grin. For the next few hours we talked about everything from kindergarten to gelato, but eventually Louis fell asleep. After a few minutes of fidgiting I manage to find a comfortable postion in the small airplane seat.
"Please fasten your seatbelts and put your chair in the upright position as we prepare for our descent," the flight attendant's voice rung through the cabin, waking me from my deep sleep. I look over to find Louis still fast asleep. I gently shook him and whispered, "wake up. We're almost there, so get up." He stirs and sits up slowly while rubbing his eyes.
"Finally, it's good to be home. You'll love it here, I promise," he spoke. Bing! The intercom sounded, ending our conversion. We made it through customs quickly and began our drive home.
