Work, work and work.
Ok, so I have 2 hrs that means 120 minutes to complete 18 files.
Cool ! my life is so perfect, note the sarcasm.

I sit on my chair and start working on first file pushing all the negative thoughts away.

'Yeah ! I can do it.', I say to
myself.
'We'll see if you can.'my brain says. I shoot draggers at it and it simply ignores me.

And wasting no more second fighting with my brain I get back to work.

After some time I look up at the clock hanging on the wall of my cabin and realise 50 minutes are already over.

'Oh God ! I have only 70 more minutes before the world comes to an end oh sorry, before MY world comes to an end and I'm still on 7th file and I need to complete more 11 files.' I think getting all tensed and afraid.
'I'll be thrown out of this building if I dont complete these files on time. Oh no !! Mr Devil will laugh at my face and kick me out.Oh no oh no I cant let that happen. My life will come to an end......' I imagine all the possible horrible scenarios in my head that will happen to me after 70 minutes no scratch that *I look again at the clock* now I have only 67 minutes.

"Hey babe." I very well know that voice because no one except her calls me babe in the office building so I look up and smile at her.

"Hey sexy." I say back to Sara.

"Oh ! will you stop calling me that. I'm 44 for god's sake," she says rolling her eyes and walk towards my desk and sits on one of the chair in front of my desk.

" But trust me you still look gorgeous and super sexy." I wink at her smiling like a little girl.

Her cheeks turn a little red.
"Ok fine. I just came here to say you bye because I'm off for the rest of the day."she says looking happy.

You see Mr Devil never lets anybody and I mean anybody take a leave or take a half day unless and untill you are seriously ill or hospitalised or about to die.

"Are you sick?" I ask her looking concerne.But she doesnt look sick.

"Oh no babe. I went to David's cabin because I needed Mr Johnson's and Mr Day's files to complete because we have to make a deal with them in next 4 days and when I asked him to provide me with the files instead he said the files have already been taken care of and I'm free to take the rest of the day off." she says looking confuse at first but then looking happy.

"Wait a minute .... but- I'm working on those files. Mr Devil said I need to complete those files within 2 hrs." I say being confused as well.

And then it clicks me he gave me her work to do as well. That monster !!!!! He is seriously making my life a living hell. I so much hate that monster. Aagghh!!!!!!!!

I look at her and by the look on her face I get that she too got the same point.

"David did this on suppose.How many more files do you have to complete?" she asks with a look of anger on her face as well.

'Yes. She hates him too now.'

"11 more files and I just have ohh shit only 55 minutes. I'm so dead." I just want to beat the life out of that devil.

"I'll help you. Don't worry. You won't get into trouble and thats basically my work what you are doing." she says looking ready to work.

"No way. You should go now and rest or have fun. I'll do it. Please just go home because if Mr Devil finds out you helped me I'll be a dead meat." I say with a look of sadness.

"He wont find out trust me. And we both together have to do this work right now because its basically my work and also my job to get you out of trouble. And also I cant watch you being kicked out of the building. So now shut up and lets work FAST." she says in a scolding manner.

"But-"

"No buts and no ifs. Lets get to work and show him the power of women." she says with a look of  determination of her face.

"Oh! Sexy, you are my fairy godmother. I love u so much. I don't know how I would have survived without you. I love you." I say running towards her and kissing her face and wiping a fake tear off my face.

After some time we both are done with all the files. I look up and realise I have 5 more minutes with me.

I thank Sara for her help after which she leaves for home.
And right now I am standing in front of Mr Devil's cabin door when I realise I have to teach him a lesson on 'how to knock a door'.

'Wait Mr Devil this time its my turn to have some fun.' I think while a smirk appears on my face.

I know I haven't revealed the name of the heroine of my book.
You'll get to know it in the next chapter and more about her.
