Chapter 4

Joels POV

"Hey Luke, she responded back already. How does around two sound?"

"Sounds great! What city is she attending?"

"uhh looks like she will be in Indianapolis. On the 11th. And I will let her know two is good, It is almost noon anyways so not to much longer."

Adleys POV

Ok so it is 12pm. I am face timing my favorite band in an hour and my parents still aren't home from work. Typically they are home before lunch...the meeting must be running late or maybe they all went out for lunch.

I thought about FaceTiming my friend Hailey before the boys called me. She still didn't know about me winning the contest. I decided to call her without asking, hoping she was already up as she was an early riser...not to mention from Hawaii.

As I waited on her to answer, I thought about our friendship. We had been friends for a short time, about six months. Even with that short amount of time we had grown very close. Facetiming almost every day, and if we didn't FaceTime each day we would always talk on Snapchat or Instagram, which is where we first met.

All the sudden she answered. Her face did not look happy with this...at all.

Haileys POV

Ugh. Who can be calling at six am?!? I grab my phone and see it is Adley and I answer.

"Adley. What do you want?!?! Its SIX AM HERE I WAS SLEEPING GEESH."

"Oops. I must have mistaken your early rising ways for Kaitlyn...she gets up early. Anyways! GOOD MORNING SUNSHINE!"

"It may be a good morning but the sun definitely is not what I am thinking about right now."

I roll out of bed and set my phone down where Adley can see the ceiling and fix my hair so I don't look like to much of an idiot. She was probably taking screenshots of me like that...I hope she doesn't post them.

"I have good news...have you been on Instagram lately? If so, have you seen fK&C recent post?

"Well no I have not been on Instagram...I was sleeping then this weirdo woke me up on FaceTime....sigh."

"HEY! That's me you're talking about! No calling me a weirdo without permission!"

We both die of laughter and I finally ask her what the good news is.

"You will NEVER guess...like OMG this is happening I cannot believe it help me calm down."

"Adley. I cannot help you calm down unless I know what the good news is. CALM DOWN AND TELL ME."

By this time, we had awoken both of my parents, my little & only sister and our dog. My mom barged into the room asking what the heck Hailey was doing awake and talking on the phone for.

"Uh Adley, I gotta go....I will talk to you after bit ok? Bye! Love you!"

I hang up and be prepared to be grounded or something from my mom.
