7- Adrenaline Rush

Cole's POV

I ended up waking really early because I was so excited about going to an amusement park with Amber. The only way it could get better would be if John could join us. I looked over at him sleeping peacefully behind me and smiled. His arms were wrapped securely around my waist with his legs tangled with my own.

I just laid there thinking about what rides Amber and I would go on and how much we were going to gossip about John. I'd probably be all girly and just constantly talk about how hot he was and other things while Amber would probably bash him the whole time. But that's pretty much what we did. She's known how I've felt about John for years.

I still have a hard time believing that I actually got John for a mate. I feel like the luckiest guy on the planet. He's just so gorgeous, funny, smart, strong, and freaking muscular. Man, my mate is like a freaking God. I could feel myself getting excited just thinking about him when suddenly I felt something hard stabbing me in the back.

My body stiffened as I realized what was stabbing my back. I felt John's body shift behind me as he groaned. His arms tightened around my waist and he moved his face to the crook of my neck. Slowly, he began kissing my neck and nipped my soft spot.

John climbed up my body and kissed me softly. He pulled away and smiled at me.

"You better get your shower and get dressed. Plus you need to eat some breakfast before you leave so you have energy for the day. You leave in an hour and I think Amber would be pissed at me if I caused you to be late for your day with her." I smiled at him and quickly kissed him again.

When I pulled away, he was smiling at me and I think I fell in love with him even more. The look that he was giving me was filled with so much love and compassion that I began to think about cancelling my day with Amber so I could stay with him.

"You're the best mate ever John. I can't thank you enough for giving me this day to spend with Amber. It means a lot to me and I know she's super excited about it too. I just wish you could come with us. Then, this day would be perfect."

He smirked as he leaned down and kissed my chin. "Well, at least you got a morning fuck to last you for the day." He jumped off the bed chuckling as I took a swing at him.

"You ass. You ruined the moment we were having," I pouted at him. He quickly walked over to me in all his glory and kissed me, licking my bottom lip. I quickly opened my mouth, allowing entrance to his delicious tongue. We made out for a few minuted until he once again pulled away. He groaned.

"You're making this so hard for me Cole. If you don't hurry up and leave the room to get ready, I'll have to take you again and then Amber will be pissed at me for making you late. Plus, you'd probably get mad at me as well."

I slowly nodded at him as I quickly stood up and made my way to the bathroom. My back hurt and I was excited to take a nice hot shower to help relax my sore body. I took a beating this morning from John's member. I chuckled at the thought and quickly climbed into the shower.

45 Minutes Later

I finished eating my breakfast while chatting excitedly with Amber. I glanced over at the doorway as I felt John's presence coming closer. I could also feel his annoyance and nervousness. He came through the doorway dressed in a suit and talking with his dad who was also dressed in a suit. When they realized they weren't alone in the room they quickly switched to communicating with their minds. I wondered what it was they could cause the secrecy, especially from me. It was then that I remembered he had a meeting with neighboring Alphas today. They must be going to discuss something very important.
