"Mommi look!" my daughter Darcy was watching t.v. (She's 4)

"Yes babe" I said entering the living room.

"Look" she said pointing at the t.v.

I turned the volume up.

"today we have the band that we know as 'one direction' we have been informed that they are officially back together we will interview the British hotties after the break"


"Who are they mum" Darcy asked. "the one with curly hair looks like the one on a picture"

Shit. Shit shit shit!

"oh yeah they were my favorite boy band when I was young" I explained.

"Oh but why does he have curly hair like me and green eyes?" she asked.

My phone started playing WMYB.

"Hold on....hello?"

"Embry! Did you the the news?!"

"Sally?! Hey nice to hear you again." it was my best friend .

"ugh did.you.see.the.news!"

"Yep"

"open the door"

I heard a knock.

"god sal just come in"

She opened the door an peeked her head in.

"Hi hi"

"Sally!!!!" Darcy screamed. She was as loud as I was about one direction.

"Ello there kiddo!" she screamed back.

"ahem" I "cleared" my throat.

"Sorry" she whispered.

"we are back and sadly only one member could join along with his twin brother...... Hello Harry, Edward" the lay said.

"Hello" they echoed in amazingly hot and raspy British accent.

"What the.... how's..... that.... they look.... I need a drink!" I was confused.


"Okay I will take Sally upstairs" Sally said making the 'ok' part sound like 'oak'.

I looked back at the t.v.

"so you boys haven't changed as in still hot" the lady said.

They blushed. And kinda chuckled.

'Well then I haven't seen or heard that since I was 16!' I god thinking this makes me feel like I'm saying it out loud. Attention back in t.v.

"so have you guys talked or kept contact with other band members?" she asked.

They looked at each other. Sheesh which one was Harry. And who's the other guy?!

"um we have been keeping contact but um mostly by txt" said the one on the right. He was wearing a black sweater that said 'Teenage runway' and the other had plain white tee and a blazer.

I tried to hear but screams kept getting in the way.

"embry!!! Embry help!!!!" it was Sally. And I smelled smoke!

"Sally!!!!! Darcy!!!!!!"

I sprinted upstairs.

The doorknob was hot. I opened it quick but my hand now burned.

When I threw the door open all you could see we're the flames. The smell was too strong.

"Sally!!!!!! Darcy!!!!!!" I was crying and pulled out my phone and dialed 911.



I sat in a hospital in between Darcy and Sally. These to were sound asleep.

I finally decide to turn the tv on.

I flipped through the channels until one caught my eye.

It was or it is the one where they were interviewing the twins.

"sorry for the interruption but today there was a serious fire in L.A today. Turns out that the owner Embry Green and her daughter Darcy Green Styles and her friend Sally Jean were all part if it we are confirmed that they are fine and being taken care of but we still don't know what caused that horrific fire. This is Annie bow,. back to you"
