"(Y/N)!" Rikuo nudged you in your sleep. You groaned awake and fluttered your lashes up at him.
"Mmmm what is it?"
"I'm getting my cast off" Rikuo grinned
"Cast? Oh, right"
"I'm going to get it off soon and want you to come with me'
"Okay, just give me a moment to get changed"
"Yay! Alright and then I'm shouting breakfast" he beamed jumping out of the room.

Changed in a (f/c) dress with a (colour) cardigan you set foot into the living room.
"(Y/n)!" Rikuo appeared infront of you happily picking you up by your waist and spinning you around.
"Wha-why are you so happy?" You asked
"Do you know how much I want to hold you properly?" He pulled you close with good uncast arm.
"Is that it?" You tilted your head in amazement
"Of course! To be able to hold you properly since I've had you means I can protect you easily-hold you closer-touch you better-"
"Alright, alright! I got it"
"You look so damn cute by the way" he says before claim a morning kiss.
"Come on let's go!" He yanked your arm.
Rin just rolled his eyes in the kitchen before placing down the pack if cereal he was pouring.

Rikuo was smiling the whole time in the car, the parking lot and right up to the appointment to get his cast off.

Rikuo pulled you into his lap and rested his chin on a shoulder.
You watched as a brother and sister play quietly with the hospital toys.
Rikuo gave you a gentle squeeze,
"Do you want one?" He muffled in your ear.
"Want one what?" I whispered back.
"A kid"
"Uh. I-actually I haven't thought about it"
He pulled down the back of your cardigan and brushed his lips across the back of your shoulder blade.
"We could have fun trying"
You flinched unintentionally.
"(Y/n) is someth-"
"NURA, RIKUO?"
"Th-thats you-thats him!" You stood earning a questioning look from Rikuo.

The mini saw ran along the boning of the cast up Rikuo's inner arm.
Finally it was pulled off and the weight removed off his arm.
Rikuo stared at his arm and flexed his wrist in and out and opened his finger and closed them.
You don't understand, he looked so happy before, what changed?

As promised Rikuo took you to breakfast, to McDonald's!
Yay! It had been so long since you had tasted fast food.
But,
You weren't all too excited as Rikuo's attitude had changed since the removal of the cast which you held closely.
