By the way, in the picture above, that is Natalie's natural hair color. Just so there is no confusion!

Natalie's POV
I was running away from yet another teacher.
This was getting annoying.
They all had said the same thing:
I know you are keeping your grades up, but I don't like the sudden change in your usually sweet personality.
You shouldn't feel pressured to change anything about yourself.
If there is anything you want to talk about, you can come to me, I know you've been having hard times lately.
I wish they would all just shove it. They don't really care about why I changed. I mean, I still keep my A average, but they want me to go back to being a goodie-goodie teacher's pet.
I didn't want that anymore.
So yeah, here I am running away from a teacher.
People gawked and whispered as I passed by.
Then, I ran into a wall.
Shoot! Why would there be a wall in the middle of the hall?!
But then I looked up, straight into gorgeous, brown eyes that looked confusedly back at me.
I knew who this was immediately.
But my damned memory couldn't find his name.
I remembered him, because this very handsome fellow was one of my brother's friends. I watched him from afar. I even started to like him a bit.
Until my heart was shattered.
But still, the sight of him made me blush slightly, only to hear Mr. Matthews (the teacher chasing me) calling my name.
I snapped out of my staring war with the boy and ran past him, without saying a word.
Though in my heart, I wanted him to say something to me.
