Beauty And The Beast

Chapter 5

Her dad at the top.

"Dad?" I say. Ash walks up behind me he wraps his arms around my waist. Dad's eye twitches.

"Get your hands off my daughter." Dad growls.

"Did you know she slept with me last night?" Ash says.

"Why would you tell her to do that?! She doesn't like you." My breath hitches when he says that.

"Ha! I don't like him?! Wow, dad. That's low even for you. I actually like him. It's you I don't like. Now, why are you here?" I ask. I know Ash can feel my anger.

"By the way, she came into my room by herself. She was scared." Ash growls.

"I'm here to take her home. You can kill me." Dad says. My eyes open wide in shock.

"No. You gave her to me. She's mine now." Ash growls.

"I'll be in the pool." I say walking away. I run up the stairs and get dressed in another swim suit.

Then I run back down the stairs without a cover up. I jump into the pool and stay down at the bottom for as long as I can. Then when I swim back up, I see Ash walking towards the stairs.

I get out of the pool and dry myself off. Then I run upstairs. His bedroom door is closed.

"Ash?" I ask knocking.

"Not now." He growls. I open the door anyways. He's sitting on his bed pulling on his hair. I walk over to him and touch his arm.

"What?" He asks in his beast voice. He looks at me.

"What happened?" I ask sitting down on his bed. He growls. "You Know what?" I say standing up. "I'm trying to help. Maybe I should just leave. Maybe I should have drowned myself." I growl before walking out of his room and slamming the door shut. I stomp down the stairs and out to the back.

I sit at the side of the pool and let my feet and part of my legs go into the pool. One of my tears hit the water.

I sit there for so long, my hair becomes dry. I stand up and dry off my legs and feet. Then I walk inside.

I ignore Ash the rest of the day, up until dinner.

"Please speak to me." Ash asks. Not beast voice.

"Can I sleep with you again tonight?" I ask looking up at him. He smiles.

"Yes." He says. I show a small smile. I'm still in my bathing suit. I take my dish and put it in the sink. I hop up on the islands counter again. He puts his dishes into the sink also. He stands in front of me.

"I'm sorry." I say looking down at my hands.

"It's okay. I understand why you were mad at me. I should not have acted like that." He says in his not beast voice.

"Tell me what happened with you and my dad." I say pushing on his chest lightly.

"Your father didn't actually want to die. He wanted to pay me so he can have you back. I would have just kidnapped you. He said that he better have you by this weekend or he will call the cops. Your not 18 yet so I can't take you away from him." Ash says. I gasp, eyes wide.

"So I'm leaving you?" I ask.

"Yes. I'll take you back on your 18 birthday though. Don't worry." He says.

"Im gonna go goth." I say warningly. "The weekend is too close." I say.

"I know. I only have 2 days with you now." Ash whispers. I growl and look out the door.

"Wanna go swimming?" I ask with happy eyes looking at him.

"Whatever you want." Ash says.

"Go put your bathing suit on. I'll be in da pool." I say hoping off of the counter and running strait to the pool. I jump in. He smiles and walks upstairs.

"Ash?" A guy yells walking through the fence in the backyard. "Who are you?" He asks me.

"I'm Beauty." I say swimming over to the edge. "I'm Ash's mate." He leans down and offers his hand.

"I'm Drew. His Beta." He says.

"Why are you here?" I ask.

"I need to tell Ash something that is going on with the pack." He says.

"Let me dry off and I will take you to him." I say getting out of the water. I walk around the pool with him following. She dries off.

"Ash! Your beta is here!" I yell when we step inside. I walk Drew to the living room. I see my dad sitting on the couch. Ash is growling at him.

"Dad?"
