Chapter 1 - First friend

Scarlet P.O.V

I got out of my bed and went to the restroom. I looked at the mirror and sighed. I hated the way I looked. I'm a fat, ugly, nobody.

After staring at my ugly reflection, I stepped on the weighing scale.

"Shit.... 170 pounds...." i thought while biting my thumb.

" You gained weight again?"

I turned around to see my big brother, Grayson standing there.

Grayson P.O.V

  I walked into the bathroom seeing my cute little sister standing on the weighing scale. Awwwww she's so cute.

"You gained weight again?" I laughed

Scarlet turned around and yelled, " Get out."

"Ok ok ok, I'll leave you alone. I'm gonna go make breakfast."

I walked downstairs and into the kitchen.

" I wonder what i will make today~" I hummed.

I cracked some eggs into the pan and let it cook. (idk how to cook lol) I put the eggs on a plate and got the beacon. I put the beacon on the pan and after a while, flipped it over. I placed them on the plate next to the eggs.

I suddenly head foot steps coming down the stairs. I saw my cute sister in a blue hoodie with jeans. She's so adorable. And squish-able. And hug-gable.

" Ooooo beacon," She said happily.

" I made beacon today because its your first day of school!" I smiled.

She became silent.

" Whats wrong? Don't you want to see your friends at school?" i asked.

Scarlet P.O.V

" Whats wrong? Don't you want to see your friends at school?" Grayson asked.

Friends? Right... 'Friends'

" Nothings wrong. MAN I'm hungry." I said trying to change the topic.

I grabbed my beacon and shoved it in my mouth.

" Mmmmmm This is delicious! Gotta go to school now!" I said as I grabbed my backpack and walked out of the house.

" Bye!! have fun~"

At school~

I walked down the hallway trying to not make eye contact with anybody. Suddenly I bump into a random student.

" Oh I'm so-"

" GOD DAMN. YOUR TAKING UP ALL THE DAMN SPACE IN THIS HALLWAY."

Just keep walking... Just keep walking...

" Are you OK?"

I looked up and saw Leo. The most cutest guy in this school. Every girl has a crush on him. Even me.

" I'm fine." I said quickly.

Walk away. Walk away. Walk away. Don't make eye contact. Walk away.

I walked to my first period and sat down at the very back.

Time Skip~ Lunch Time~

I don't even want to eat. I will just get fatter and things would just get worse.

I walked to the roof and sat down. It was peaceful. Quiet. And no one would bother me.

ACHOO

I looked around and saw a guy wearing a black t-shirt with long bangs, black ripped up jeans, and ear piercings.

" Its peaceful here isn't it." The guy said.

" H-hm? Oh um yeah." I stuttered.

I have no idea what I'm do. I'm not good at communicating with people.

He walked over and sat down right next to me.

" The name is Matthew. Yours?"

" Scarlet. Can i call you Mat?"

" Sure. Can i call you Scar?"

" W-why Scar?"

" I don't know. It seemed cool. Plus I thought it was fair since you gave me a nickname I should give you one too."

" You call me whatever you want."

" Shouldn't you be eating lunch with your friends right now?"

"Yeah... I'm not good with communicating with a lot of people..."

There was a moment of silence.

Mat got up and took his hand out.

"OK then. from now on I'm your friend." He ordered.

" W-what? you don't have to do this."

A friend? I don't know.

" I'm not forcing myself to be your friend. I want to be your friend." Mat said.

I slowly took his hand. He pulled me up and asked, " so, whats your next class?"

" English."

" I have the same class. lets go!" Mat ordered.

Time skip~ After school~

After school I hanged out with Mat and he's actually a pretty cool guy. He likes heavy metal bands, sweets, video games, and hes a geek when he talks about anime. I can relate.

I suddenly see Leo walking with his new girlfriend Layla.

" You like him?" Mat asks.

" Kind of." I answered.

beep beep

 I turned my head and saw Grayson in his car.

" Well got to go! see you tomorrow!" I waved.

"Bye! Next time lets go to my house and play some video games."

" That sounds cool."

Grayson P.O.V

I drove my car to the front of my cute little sister's high school and saw her talking to some emo, Gothic guy. She can't be close to him. I-Is that piercings? I honked and Scarlet turned around.

My little sis walked to the car and got in.

" Who was that?" I asked.

" My friend. He's a really cool guy. You should meet him one day." she said happily.

why a emo guy out of everybody in the school? whyyyy WHYYY

" you should invite your friend to our house tomorrow." I smiled.

I'm going to see whats so special about this guy.
