My Very Existence

Chapter 2

*Cain Haden played as Toni Mahfud*

I stared at him in absolute shock.

"Y-you j-just oh my god...wh-" he stopped me from talking any more.

"I just what, talked? I have vocal cords for a reason. I'm not mute. I just don't talk often." I started laughing manically. That seemed to confuse him. "Why are you laughing like that?"

"Why are you talking to me of all people? Oh today is just too weird. First Damien, Jax and Jaz want me to with you all during lunch and now you're talking to me. 'The Great Cain Haden' is talking to me. You've never spoken a word to me till now. Why m-" this boy did not just cut me off again. 

"Just shut up. This is why I dont talk to people. They talk to much."

"But you just said like 12 words more than what you needed to. And sadly your stil-"

"SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!" I flinced back not wanting to upset him further than what I apparently did. "You're mine now and nobody else's. You understand?" I nodded.

"Do you fucking understand? I wanna hear words coming out that beautiful mouth of yours." He hissed at me furiously. 

"Y-yes." Tears were sprouting out of my eyes and rolling down my face once again. His face softened and he brought his hand to my face. I flinced away from him and that only seemed to upset him again. He picked me up bridal style and headed towards the back of the school. Speed walking through the school we caught a little breeze that had my hair flying out my face. To the bypassers it would look like we were running. He glared at everyone in his way and they ran out the way. 

Like they literally ran away. Not wanting to be the next person to face Cain's fist.

Once there was this boy, who sadly is still in the hospital in a coma, thought it'd be cool to mess with Cain. Cain hadn't known that his girlfriend was cheating on him. Her name was Fae Paden, which rhymed which Cain's last name. But back to the story, Fae was cheating on Cain with the captian of the soccer team, Blake Peretz. Blake put all that information out and it got to Cain. He rubbed it in his face and got his ass beat. Cain beat him so bad he had to go to the hospital and was put in a coma. Blake has been in a coma for about 5 months now. Now Fae had it a bit worse, not physically but emotionally. She was labeled as a slut and was bullied for weeks upon weeks till it turned to months. Just 2 months ago was her funeral and only a few people turned up. I was there.

*FLASHBACK*

Tears streamed downs everyone's face. Mr. and Mrs. Paden were sitting up front with their family and anyone from our school who was friends with her sat in the next row. I was sat towards the front with Mr. and Mrs. Paden. Fae was a friend but I hadn't know as well as some of the others here. But they asked me to give a speech. 

"-Sadly she took her life but she'll be remembered forever in our hearts." Val or Valeri Fae's best friend ended off her speech.

I got up and stood at the podium. "Um..I don't really know where to start off. I don't have a speech prepared exactly but Fae didn't derserve any of the bullying she got. Fae was one of the nicest people I knew. She was someone I always wanted to be friends with but she never exactly noticed me. I remember one day I was in the girl's bathroom crying and Fae walked in. She didn't even know me but still sat on the ground with me. She let me rant to her about something so personal but she never judged me. She comforted me and at the end gave me a hug-" I took in a deep breath on the verge of tears while everyone else was balling their eyes out at the memory. "- and told me that life would get better if I just waited to see what fate had in store for me. I only wish she was still here. If people think that what they did to her was okay because of one mistake she made, they can go to hell. She took her life because of what they did to her. Fae was a great person and as Val said, she'll be remembered in our hearts." I got off the podium and as I stepped off the last step Val, the Padens and some of her friends came and hugged me. 

I broke down. I couldn't hold it in anymore. Tears leaked out my eyes and stained the shirt of Ethan. Fae's older brother who had a massive crush on me. They were my neighbors if I hadn't mentioned before. I hugged him tighter than ever.

*FLASHBACK END*

And ever since me and Ethan have been close. Friend wise only. He's 22 and I'm 17 and I guess that went through his head and decided to just be friends. He's also my ride whenever I need one. 

So caught up in the memory I hadn't noticed we were outside and a hand was being waved in front of my face for a second time today.

"Are you done daydreaming, babe?" Damien asked. Cain punched him on the shoulder.

"She's mine." Cain grunted out. 

"Nice going man." Jax and Jaz said at the time then glared at each other.

Chaz wasn't here but he'll probably be here for lunch. Jax pulled out a cigarette and lighter. He pulled one out and put it in between his mouth. He lit the cigarette and inhaled, only to exhale and repeat. Must've felt my eyes staring at him because he looked directly in my eyes and asked if I wanted to try.

"No, unlike you I don't plan on dying earlier than what I should." I stated with my arms crossed.

"Let's play 21 question." Jaz said.

There were a round of ok's.

(D=Damien, C=Cain, JZ=Jaz, JX=Jax and H=Sweetheart)

D: What's your favorite color?

H: Blue, Black and Red.

Cain stiffened at me response. And I know exactly why. Fae's favorite color was red. And so she painted herself red the day she died.

JZ: Why did you and Cory breakup?

H: Well he either cheated on me with Gracie or she fed him some bs lie.

C: Why do you always get a ride from Ethan instead of your own parents?

Cain's glare was focused on me and only me.

"Didn't you hear Gracie back in the classroom? I'm an orphan that lives by myself. My parents are dead. Unë nuk mund të besoj se ju do të më pyesni se Kaini . Me të vërtetë ju jeni fucked up për këtë . Unë të urrej (I can't believe you'd ask me that Cain. Really you're fucked up for that. I hate you)." I screamed then burst out in tears. Jax came over to comfort me.

"Shit. I'm sorry baby girl. Come here." instead of going to him I ran back inside. Only to bump into someone.

Faith Paden. Fae's cousin who hates me so much.
