As montana goes to shore the other ship girls and boys are waiting for him and he is huffing and puffing by the time he gets to shore.

(exhales and inhales rapidly) " aw man A150 was right I am a little out of shape"

" I guess she was montana" said kaiho

chuckles from Khabarovsk

" hey make no mistake I maybe a little out of shape for her but I can certainly hold my own against you two" said montana 

Both boys look at each other and laugh while holding up their hands in a defensive posture

" who's A150 poi" asked yuudachi

" well she is mont"

" talk and your dead kaiho" said montana who's eyes said he's in for a world of pain 

" she's a former friend of ours who'd let power get to her head " said montana

" really she was your friend what happened" asked mutsuki

All three hesitate and quickly the ship girls realize they were on a touchy subject and tried to change the subject.  

" so kaiho what planes do you use" asked akagi

" huh "

" your planes what are they " she repeated

" oh they are modified and improved versions of existing aircraft"

" oh I see how are they different then"

" well which ones cause they are all different"

" your fighters they seem very different to our zeros"

" that's true I have 2 types of fighters one is a development of the N1K2 shiden kai or the " george " as the americans called it and the other is a development of the Ki-84 " frank " as it's also known"

"  why do you use those planes instead of zeros" said kaga

" I can use zeros but for my purposes they are not up to the job"

" but the zero was our main stay fighter it won us many victories and fought to the teeth for us" said akagi

" yes they did fight hard but after 1943 were outclassed and outmatched by the American fighters and the zero had some draw backs to" went kaiho

" like what" asked kaga

"  the zero is a relatively slow plane it was fast early on but as time went by the competition got faster and harder to deal with, second it couldn't take hit you can literally take a 7.7 machinegun and  shoot one down easily although a lot of japanese aircraft were like that "

" hmph you have some gall to say those words" said kaga

" right and how many planes did japan loose in the war"

Kaga doesn't reply

" exactly look the zero isn't a bad plane itself but it's pretty shit compared to other planes hence why I took the aircraft I have instead they still had much to be desired in the durability department but they were good planes and a better choice" kaiho shrugs

" well if that's the case why are your planes different from how they originally were then" asked taiho

" the reason is I went up against carriers with planes that were very dangerous aircraft easily on par with any late 1944-45 planes and in some cases even better so my planes had to change to keep up also having durability like wet tissue was a problem to"
