The Move

Samantha is a junior in highschool. She is 16 and is originally from California. She was forced to move to Nevada after her mother and father got divorced. Samantha is a really shy girl, who only has a few close friends; Danielle, Taylor, and Collin.

samantha's pov
     "I can't believe you actually did this to me" I say getting out the car. This was the first time I got to see our new house. "You are going to be fine, it's only a state over" my mom said, as she started carrying boxes to the door. "Your friends can always come visit during summer or spring break. I'm sure you will make new friends here too." I rolled my eyes at the thought of new people. I was never good at making friends, I was already kind of an outcast at my old school. I had my few friends, but I never considered myself popular. I checked my phone, I had a text message from my bestfriend Danielle.

Danielle : I can't believe you actually had to move.
Me: I know, you have to come visit soon.

     I put my phone in my pocket, and walk into the house. I have to admit it was a pretty nice house. I walk in to my new room, it was huge. Even though I hated moving, I really did like this house. I began to unpack my things even though it was getting pretty late. I am definitely not excited about school tomorrow. It really sucks when you are the new kid.
