Party Weekend

Samantha's pov
This week was nothing to special, Nick and I have been talking a lot lately. It seems like its going very well! We are even going to Mariah's party together tomorrow. I think its even considered to be a date.
"SAMANTHA DINNER!" my mom screams from downstairs. I quickly jump up and slide down the railing of the stairs. She glared at me, "what did I tell you about doing that? you are going to end up breaking your neck." I laughed "fine mom, if you are that worried I will stop." She handed me my plate, spaghetti yummy. We talked and laughed while eating, she ended up bringing up Nick. "How are you and that boy? You guys official yet?" she had this playful smirk on her face. "No not yet, hopefully after this party though" I smiled at the thought. "Well I was thinking, it's only 5pm I'm sure the mall is still open we can always go find you an outfit for tomorrow." I jumped up in excitement and went to hug her, "Thank you so much" I kissed her cheek and ran upstairs.
We walking around the mall for a good hour or so before stopping at Victoria Secret. They were having a good sale, my mom had to stop. She can never pass up a sale. She ended up buying a few things for me too, I wasn't complaining. We finally make it to Forever 21, it was my favorite place. We looked around till I found the perfect dress. It was light pink with a little black belt, it was love at first sight. (picture above) It made me extra excited for the party!

The Next Morning ~
I woke up and checked my phone. I noticed I had a text so I checked it.
Nick: can't wait to see you tonight baby.
I smiled. It was the first time he called me baby.
Me: it's going to be so much fun, can't wait to see you either!
I jumped up and quickly got in the shower. I ran my fingers through my wet hair to rinse it. I sat under the warm running water thinking about the party. I'm really hoping Nick makes it official tonight. I'm really excited to hang out with the girls. All my thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door. "Yes?" I yell peaking my head out the shower. "It's Ariana, I figured we could get ready together." she said from outside the bathroom. "I'll be right out!" I turn the water off and got out the tub. The cold air hit my skin giving me chills. I quickly wrapped a towel around me. I dried off and threw on some comfy clothes. I walked out giving Ariana a hug. "I heard you and Nick are a thing" she smirks while nudging me. I giggle a little "nothing official yet" I say grabbing my blowdryer. "Ugh. That's no fun. I bet he's waiting for tonight. You guys would be so cute together." she says. "Thank you" I say before turning on the blowdryer.
We spent all day getting ready before I knew it, it was almost time to go. My phone buzzed...
