I'm bad at writing details... So bear with me.

"Helga... Promise me you'll take care of yourself." Her mother's last words had barely left her mouth when her eyes shut.
"No! Mother! Please... please don't leave me..." Helga's body shook as tears streamed down her face. She clutched her mother's hand close to her. When all the tears had finally dried and the sun was setting, Helga reluctantly let go of her mother and kissed her forehead lightly before waving her wand. Her mother disappeared in a instant. All that was left was just a mound of dirt and some belongings of her mother's, indicating that her mother was buried safely underneath the layers of soil. Helga picked up her mother's belongings and began to walk away.
As she walked, she felt more and more depressed. Her mother, her only companion throughout the eighteen years of her life, had just suddenly died. Just like that. Her feet felt as heavy as lead; her eyelids were closing fast as she forced herself to keep her eyes open.
Then, she heard the bushes around her rustle. She stopped in her tracks and glanced around. Spotting nothing, she continued walking, telling herself that there was no one there. Without warning, she felt a gloved hand on her mouth. Something cold was pressed to her neck. Oh no. Bandits.

Sorry it's short, but I wanted to leave a cliffhanger :D
I know the beginning was a little too boring, but I promise it will be more exciting later on.
