~Marinette POV~
Marinette and Adrien walk to the Smoothie Shack chatting on the way there.
She learned things about him and vice versa
"Wow! That must suck." She said while laughing
"I know right, I was just standing there then bam!"
"Well here we are." She said while walking in
"I'll order the smoothie's, what would you like?" Adrien asks
"Hmmmmm, I guess I'll have a bannana shake." She replies
He nods and takes his place in the line.
"OMG! Tikki I've been waiting for this moment for like forever!" She whisper-shouted
"I'm proud of you Marinette!"
Tikki said smiling.
×××Time Lapse×××
The waiter came and gave us our drinks.
"I think you guys make a cute couple." He says
Adrien blushes "Um, W-we aren't together, just....friends."
I felt my heart break in a million- no a trillion tiny pieces.
"Oh! Sorry I-I thought you guys wer-"
"It's fine, really." Marinette interrupts. He then walks to away.
~Adrien POV~
"Um, W-we aren't together, just....friends." Adrien said
I glanced at Marinette and saw all the hope in her eyes disappear.
"Oh! Sorry I-I thought you guys wer-"
"It's fine, really." Marinette interrupted.
The waiter then walked away and we went back to our smoothies like nothing happened.
Marinette remained quiet with "Mhm" every once in a while to let me know she was listening.
We then finished our smoothies.
"Come on, Marinette." Said Adrien "I'll walk you home."
"Okay Adrien."
We walk for about 20 minutes until we reach her house.
"Thanks Adrien, I had a good time." She says
"Don't mention it, I also had a good time."
She then walks in the bakery and I head home.
