Chapter 2

Chapter 2:

Just like I imagined the hall for dinner was grand, lined up with rows of chairs and a chandelier hanging above. Trust me, if you were a potter head (like me) then you would be freaking out at this scene.

I turned my head towards carter, "Was Hogwarts based of this place or vice versa?"

"Actually, yeah. Hogwarts was based of this place." He spoke, smiling "Let me guess potter head?"

"Yes!" I shouted in excitement, "This is amazing."

He simple nodded and started to weave through the tables, the sound of hush whispering reached my ears as we walked past. Giggling girls were rushing to their friends as their eyes stayed wide open.

"Oh my god! It's Khy Anderson!" A girl screeched, standing up from her table. Heads snapped towards me and I stood awkwardly, a small smile on my face. I lift my hand and waved. The screams grew louder as the girls rushed forward.

"Hey! Stop!" Carter shouted, taking the spot in front of me.

"Urgh. Carter, move." A girl whined, flicking her strawberry blonde hair over her shoulder.

"Now, Kassie. Give the lad a break. "Carter snapped, pulling me towards the end of the table and forcing me to sit down. I smiled at him gratefully and looked around the table.

"Okay, Lads this is Khy my new roommate. Khy this Is Jack, Josh, Alvin and Harry. "He spoke pointing to each guy one by one. Jack waved, smiling, his beach blonde hair placed perfectly on his head. Next was josh, his brown eyes gazing at me with a small smirk on his face. Alvin smiled too, with his stormy grey eyes looking at some one behind me. Finally, Harry with his curly brown hair and green eyes smirked before going back to his phone.

"Hey,"I replied, running my hand through my hair. My eyes scanned the room stopping my gaze at the end of the fourth table, a single person sat there alone. She looked at the food in front of her before pushing it away and laying down, the same headphones placed on her head.

"Reese... That's Reese." Harry spoke, his husky voice snapping me out of her thoughts.

"Why is she so alone?" I asked, looking back at Harry who was looking at her with a sad eyes.

"Rough past trust me you don't want to know. Her brother Blake is my best friend, in fact ... Wait I'll be back"

With that he stood up and walked to her table, he sat down next to her and tapped her shoulder. I watched carefully as she raised her head and looked at him, her eyebrow slightly raised. I saw his mouth move while she just stared, how she could hear him with those headphones off.

"Bro, stop staring." Josh snapped. I quickly looked down and played with my fingers. I could not help it she just intrigues me.

Harry finally walked over sighing, as Reese rushed passed us storming out of the hall.

"That girl. "He growled, sitting down and grumbling under his breath. I shrugged, finally digging into the food in front of me.

When dinner was done as a group we walked back to our hallway getting to know each other a little bit more. Jack happened to be hilarious, always joking around and making fun of people.

A small smile found my way onto my face as I walked behind the group. After four years, I feel at peace. It was nice to roam around and hardly be swarmed by thousands of girls, to walk around without cameras in my face. It felt good, it felt really good.
