Carter's POV
I watched her play with the hem of her shirt, she looked so cute. I remember hoe her stomach grumbled in the office and she looked down trying to hide her face, she found it embarassing but it was so cute the way her hair fell on her face as she stared down. She looked so innocent, so adorable, magnificent. I can stare at her the whole day.
As we reached to the cafe, i quickly got out of the car and went to her side of the car so i could open her door but she was already out. I don't know why but she makes do things i would possibly do for no one in particular. I got out of my thoughts and soon realised she was talking to me and i heard the last part, she said, "What are you waiting for?" I soon followed her in, a waitress came by and i spoke, "a table for two please." She soon led us inside where there was space, it was an open space with dim lighting and she said thank you to the waitress before she left.
As we sat down i saw how the lighting made her beautiful skin glow, i couldn't stop staring at her. Another waiter came and handed us the menu which we gladly took. She then ordered 1 large double cheese hamburger with a glass of watermelon juice with whipped cream and i just ordered my usual which was a cup of black coffee and pancakes with maple syrup.
I then spoke,"i apologize for calling you very early in the morning." She nodded her head and said, "No worries, since you're treating me." She looked at me and just burst out laughing, and spoke, "Chill beast, i'm just kidding." Her laughter was something so magical, it was like music in my ears. After she spoke, it was now my turn to laugh. "You really think i'm a beast don't you?" and laughed even harder, she just looked at me and smiled. "You woke me up so early and messed with my sleep, what do you think i could possibly call you for that?" she said to me with a hint of mischeviousness in her voice.
As i was about to talk the food came. She looked at her burger and jumped into it. She ate like a kid. When she was done having her food, her mouth was covered in whipped cream and sauce. I couldn't help but laughed. Nobody has made me laugh like this in years after that incident i forget how to laugh. I looked at her, and she looked so confused about what was happening, She looked so adorable. After i was done laughing she gave me look that clearly said, "Care to explain." I picked the napkin that was near my plate and went towards her, i wiped her face gently and removed all the whipped cream and sauce from her mouth as i was done, i realised how close our faces were. We were just inches away from each other, we just stared at each other until we both heard someone clear their throat. We immediately were sitted and we saw that it was the waiter, he had got our bill. We both had an apologetic smile on our faces looking at the waiter.
The waiter just smiled and left. She picked up the bill and i snatched it from her, telling her i'll pay. She tried snatching it back but i didn't let her and she just sighed. Atleast tell me how it was, she asked for the fifth time. I didn't answer her and she just let go after that, i bet she got irritated. She then turned on the radio of the car, and some song was playing, she increased the volume. i think she loves this song. I heard her humming the song. She then all of a sudden started to sing the song, i don't think she realises am here. Her voice was beautiful, she had an amazing voice. It' reminded me of somebody, but who? My head started spinning and it hurt so bad i couldn't do anything. I lost control of the car and soon i blacked out.
