Tony's POV

"Why isn't this working, JARVIS run a diagnostics scan and tell me what the issue is." I say aloud

"Right away sir. Might I remind you sir that you have a party to attend to in half an hour. Might I suggest that you start getting ready." God all I want is the results of the scan not some reminder about a stupid party.

"Not going. Those scans JARVIS" I say dismissing the topic of the party.

"Sir might I remind you that miss potts is going to be there."

"I don't care. Those results would be nice"

"Very well sir, it seems that you are missing a power source"

"SHIT" I pick up the closest thing and throw it at the wall smashing it into millions of pieces.

"You know. You won't make those sorts of silly mistakes if you had gotten any sleep this week" a voice says from the door

"Quit it cap, I'm not in the mood" I retort

"JARVIS please do a vitals scan of Tony and tell me what you find."

Steves POV

"Right away Mr Rogers. It appears that he has low levels of melatonin and a lot of caffeine in his system as well as low fluids." Exactly what I thought. The idiots trying to kill himself.

"Tony did you hear what he just said?" I ask knowing the answer but wanting to hear it anyway.

"Yep and choosing to not care" of cause.

"Tony please. Come to the party with me, I'll drop you off with pepper and you will have a great time. Come on Tony you need a break" I say as I walk closer to him and grab his hand. A burst of not fills my body as he stands up and allows me to take him upstairs to get ready. Muttering things to himself too quiet for me to catch. But still comes with. Once upstairs and in his room I rush off to help set up for the party.

"Captain Rogers you are needed in the bathroom, it appears Mr stark has had an accident. He is requesting your assistance."

"Oh steve, Tony needs you in the bathroom, I wonder what he wants" Natasha and Clint mimic and wink. Blushing, I tell JARVIS that I'm on my way and make my way to Tony's bathroom not forgetting to hit the two idiots over the head as I pass them.

"Tony, you ok?" I say standing on the outside of the door.

"Yeah totally" he manages to say, it sounds like he's in pain.

"JARVIS, it's he clothed?"

"No Sir he is not." Great. I open the door to find Tony lying in the bath tub in pain.

" Tony what did you do?" I say rushing over.

"I decided to play peek-a-boo with the mirror and decided to hide in the bath. What do you think I'm doing. I fell you moron!" And I thought he was annoying when he wasn't injured.

"Tony, I'm going to help you up ok and then take you to your bed, do you think you can help me?" I say leaning over to pick him up. Surprisingly he co-operates and helps me carry him over to the bed.

"Can you put some clothes on yourself?" Please say yes.

"No" Arg what is he doing to me... Don't tell me Natasha and Clint told him about my crush if so im dead.

"Ok just relax, where did you hurt?" I say walking over to his clothes draw."

"My left knee and hip" he says as he lays back on his bed. I start dressing him as he lays limp on the bed being useless as normal. Once I finish putting him in his pyjamas I put him under the covers and turn to walk back to the party that just started.

"JARVIS keep an eye on the party and don't tell anyone what happened to tony all they need to know is not to bother him" I say as I go to leave the room. Just as I open the door I hear Tony's voice call me.

"Steve, stay. Please" he whispers as he starts falling asleep.

"Sure Tony" I turn back to the bed and climb in beside him and wrap him in my arms. I lie there waiting for him to question it but instead he leans into my touch resting his head on my chest and we both start drifting off to sleep.

"I love you Steve" he whisper on the edge of consciousness.

"I love you too Tony" I murmur as i kiss his forehead and fall asleep with him in my arms.
