"Come on, Joey!" Verena huffed in annoyance "it's easy, just try!"
"No! I'm not interested"
"Kobi!" Verena called, a large cheetah walked in cautiously to his mistress' side and purred when she scratched behind his ears, she smiled at him "please get my dear big sister down from the roof" her voice turned dark "use any means nessersary"
Kobi's ears flattened on his head, he nodded and padded out of the room wondering just what Mistress Josephine had done that annoyed her so much and what exactly she wanted him to do about it.
He shook out his fur and looked up at the roof, looking for the other girl. A glint of light drew his eyes to his target, he watched for a moment as she inspected one of her daggers the sun reflecting off of its blade when she turned it.
He crouched and pushed of the ground, landing gracefully on the roof without a sound. He knew he had to stay quiet, he wasn't only having to be careful with his target but he also had to watch out for Nina. He flicked his tail, if the large she wolf found him sneaking up on her Mistress...he shook his head, Mistress Verena had said to get Mistress Josephine...he lay down and set his head on his paws. How was he actually surpassed to do that though?
She wasn't as fast as he was but she wasn't slow either, her strength and agility was incredible and if she transformed he'd have a huge disadvantage especially if she used her water power.
Well, he'd just have to sneak up on her while her guard was down, he liked that plan opening his eyes he jumped back in surprise crouched right in front if him was his target, her long brown hair in a pony tail her fringe covering her left eye, her lone visible blue one looked at him in surprise.
"What bit your tail?" Josephine asked amused "one minute your purring the next you jump in fright, it's not like you've never had your ears scratched before"
Kobi couldn't believe he hadn't noticed her come up to him, although it did explain why he had his eyes closed...
"Rena sent you, didn't she" it wasn't a question but he nodded numbly anyway, still in shock.
Josephine sighed "Fine I'll come down" she stood up he moved to follow her "but I refuse to cook" he froze in mid-step that was the big reason? His Mistress wanted to teach Misstress Josephine to cook?!
Josephine turned to look at the large fire cat "Kobi...are you coming?" He shook his fur out again
Quickly he folloewd and jumped of the roof with her.
Verena's annoyed frown broke into a grin "Good job Kobi" she said, her voice muffled as she hugged him around his neck he purred in response before running out of the room. Verena watched her partner leave confused but shrugged it off.
She tied her brown hair into a pony tail, like her sisters and grabbed the older girls hand "Now Josephine, put the beef in the pan" the older girl gave her an annoyed look but with obvious displeasure put the diced beef in the pan.
Verena's red eyes shone happily as she picked up a Wooden spoon and turned the beef "and now we have to let the beef brown" Josephine watched, her annoyed look not going away "can I go now?"
Verena looked up at her and smiled "Nope" Josephine sighed, while Verena continued until the beef was brown and she had cut up the onions "Joey peel and cut two carrots please" Josephine knowing she wouldn't be able to leave if she didn't do something went to take out one of her daggers.
Verena's eyes widened "No, Josephine! Use this" she handed her a smaller knife it was sharp and had a dull brown hilt. "Fine..." Josephine sighed again before slowly peeling the carrots with the small knife "Can I go now?"
"No you need to cut them!"
Once she's cut them and Verena put the beef gravy water in it and put both the chopped onion and carrot in Verena put a tin of tomatos in it and stirred.
"Can I go now"
"Yep! I just have to stur it every 20 to 30 mimutes so it doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan!" She hugged the older girl happily before pulling away and smiling up at her "see it wasn't so hard"
Josephine still looked annoyed "I still don't like cooking"
Verena pouted "That's fine, I just wanted you to learn something, and I think you did, so its okey!"
Josephine looked at her carefully "So I can leave now?"
Verena throw her hands up in disbelief "yes!"
Josephine smiled and kissed her sister on the cheek before leaving the room calling "Thank you!"
