Chapter 15

Wow still lazy as shit

I shrugged it off for now and walked towards the kitchen where Im pretty sure I heard some noises....... I think

The noise seemed to be getting louder with my every passing step

It echoed through the empty halls making it seem louder and more ominous

I was almost at the door then I placed myself at the door hinges where I could peek over looked over and saw what seemed to be raiders

Wow its only been like 20 minutes since this started and this gold mine is already being raided

I decided not to fuck with them and left this time walking like I was on a stroll. Then I heard a voice that sent shivers up my spine

"You might want to stop right now"A deep masculine voice said roughly. I clenched my sword and immediately took a swing behind me

"Hmmm that was weird" He said as my sword flew to the other part of the room and disappeared

"Its almost as if something tried to hit me"He continued as a dark red word now in front of my face as I looked up and saw what he looked like he had a white beard and a scar from his eyebrow down to his nose

I couldn't help but gulp at his appearance

"Alright now that that is over with give it NOW!"He voice turned rougher and a shiver went up my spine as I quietly said

"W-what a-are you t-talking about" I bet he could tell how petrified I was at the moment

"The bracelet" He says hoarsely making me gulp

I breath in heavily and sigh and start removing my bracelet and he removes his sword from the front of my face and replaces it with his other hand outreached for my bracelet

I gripped it one last time before giving it to him and the bracelet gives of a faint light as it went into his hand

Then I heard it, a sizzling noise

He gasps in pain and I snatch the bracelet from his hand He isn't gonna take that easily then I felt a sudden rush of energy overtake me and I start running out of the room. So this is what adrenaline feels like, weird. Soon after I heard the man shout to his companions

"Damn it! I had it! After him you dumbasses why the hell are you just fucking staring!!"

And without second thought his goons started running my way, man what mindless people following orders from people like him

I charged down the remains of the stairs and quickly went to the living room to get Sky because I'm not living in this place as of now its called hell

My arms picking him up bridal style because he is still unconscious and leave the leaving room quickly out the conveniently large window, jumping out scraping the ends of my hair and immediately charged for one of the less destroyed building as soon as I get in i lean my back against the wall and sit down and started to listen closely

"Fuck! He's gonna kill us if we don't find him!" Says one of them

"Cmon lets split up, goon 1 go north, goon 3 will go west and I will go south" One of them says probably goon 2

I peek outside the door and see them head off into different directions, weird they all headed into all directions except for mine which was east....... Bad luck for them but good for me

Sweet! Now just to find where the others are hiding...... If most of them are still alive, I sigh and stood up one more time and my legs started shaking but I try to ignore and started walking towards the bed room

It was small but two small beds placed on the left and right side of the room with a lamp on a table in between putting aside the size of the room it actually looks kind of decent

I put Sky on the right side and moved to the other side of the bed  and took the bed sheets it was high time to replace Sky bandages and those bedsheets would be decent enough and now i looked for something sharp or maybe scissors..... Yeah that would be  nice and conveniently enough i found a pair of scissors on the table with the lamp. I sigh with relief and picked it up but before I start I went to the door and closed it and locked it as quietly as I could

Alright now then I'll cut those bedsheets and wrap them around Sky's Wound

*Conveniently timed-time skip*

Damn! That took longer than expected. I sigh and jump on my bed after applying first aid exhaustion and boredom put me to sleep like parents putting their child to sleep before christmas and I sink easily into unconsciousness
