Tick-tock-tick-tock.

"You're running out of time, Dimitri." Who was there? Who was calling my name out? Why couldn't I see them?

"Show yourself." I spoke out to it. My limbs were heavy and I couldn't lift them.

"Come and find me, don't worry, I will wait as long as I have to." It was a creepy voice that gave me chill bumps. Somehow I wanted to get away from it, but something else inside me wanted to find it.

I was so tired. Everything was still black. I thought to myself, A little sleep won't hurt now will it? So I decided to sleep, just for a little bit more. It's not going to hurt anyone.

I drifted off somewhere distant. This is where the dreams began.

"Hello," a small girl with waving blode hair said to me, "you aren't from around here are you?"

All I could do was look at her. She was so tiny, so fragile. So.....breakable. I could snap her in half without even trying. It would be easy. Piece of cake. Wait-stop that! Don't break the little girl!

"What are you doing, sir?" the little girl spoke again. She stared at me like she knew exactly what I was thinking.

I backed away. "What do you want?" I sounded scared. My voice was shaky.

She just stared at me blankly. "I want.....everything." She smiled at me, showing me her teeth and the devilish things that stuck noticably out of them. She was a vampire.

Impossible! There was no such thing! Then it came to me that I was still dreaming.

I aproached the little girl and sneered back at her, "After all, it's just a dream."  Enraged with anger that suddenly swarmed me, I grabed her around the neck.

She didn't scream or struggle, but stared deep into my soul and burned it. I was on fire from the inside.

I dropped down to my hands and knees and fought for breath. It hurt. Why did it hurt? This was a dream and no pain can be felt in dreams. This was pain though. Not my imagination.

The girl aproached me. She rubbed the area around my spine on the back of my neck. I screached with agonizing pain. She pulled her hand away but stepped closer.

"Times running out, Dimitri," She spoke in a sweet voice, "Let this be a warning to you." She bent down slightly, for I was almost taller than her on my hands and knees, and sank her small, white fangs deep into my neck.

I would have screamed, if I could. My whole body had frozen up instead. Heat flushed through me. Then, it reversed as she started to suck the blood. Cold-colder-colder. Until I could not feel an inch of my body, not even the huge gash she left in my neck when she retracted her fangs.

I feel over. Face first into the grass, I didn't have enough energy to roll over. So I layed there.

"Don't pick on  a little girl half you size, Dimitri, you have no idea what's in the inside." The girls body began to rip and tear open. A creature three times her size was coming out of the body.

When it was completely out, it tossed the girls body aside. Then it turned half-way to me, where I could only see one side of it's face.

"Don't let looks decieve you now, Dimitri," it sneered, "you're in our world now."
