"Come on Jake, we don't have all night!" Phoebe whispered as she stands on the rooftop of her school.
"That's easy for you to say. You did not twist your anckle when you tried to climb to someones room." Jake responds.
Phoebe starts laughing. "I warned you, I told you that old hedge wasn't going to last long." Jake grabs the drainpipe and finds difficulty climbing before he reaches the top.
Phoebe opens her backpack and grabs a flashlight, a map and a markerpen. She opens the map and lays it on the ground. " So what's the plan, toddle?" she asks. She hands over the flashlight and the markerpen. The look in her eyes is teasing, Jake smiles.
"Well it's not that complicated actually. We just break in through the ventilation shaft and open the shutter above classroom 28, attache the laptop, hack the system, change the grades and get the hell out." he responds.
Phoebe looks at the map and then across the rooftop. She takes the flashlight from Jake and clicks it on. "So which shaft do we take?" she asks.
"That one." Jake points at the shaft on the left side of the roof.
They fold the map and make their way to the left side of the roof. Jake kneels before the shutter. "It's rigid! I don't have the tools." he says.
"Oh for godsake! Let me." Phoebe kicks in on the shutter, faster and harder with every kick.
" It's not going to work, Phoebs." Jake sits back and enjoys the way Phoebe is desparetly trying to open the shutter.
"It's....already....bending..." Phoebe says and with one final kick the shutter breaks lose and falls down the shaft with terrible noise.
"Great work, Phoebs. They know we're here, if they didn't already." Jake sighs.
"Oh come on, at least it's open." Phoebe looks down the shaft. "You first, toddle."
"What me? Why? Are you scared, Phoebs?" Jake responds teasing. "Not at all. It would be more practical for you to go first, since you know the way, but fine I'll go first. I'll give you a sign when it's clear, but hey... don't twist your other anckle, we will need it." Phoebe says as she climbs in the shaft. She let's go of the sidewalls and slides down. "Silly Phoebs." he whispers.

Small strokes of light shine on my face, the warmth of the sun dries my tears. I had another dream of him. I feel empty and don't want to get up.
It has been two years since I saw him for the last time, and I still find difficulty living without him. It was our last night on the job, he left two days after that.
I fight the tears and sit myself down on the bed. My hair is soaked ans sticks to my face, I swipe strokes of her hair behind my ear.
I stand up and open the window, a cold autumn breeze blows in my face and through my hair. A soft sent of fallen leaves comes my way.
Flashes of his image go through my mind. Still swooning by his image, I walk to the bathroom and takes a shower. The warm water washes all the sadness away. Only good memories are left behind. I feel much better now. As I dry my hair and skin, I think about his laugh. I put on some cloths and decide to go for a walk.
After losing Jake and finding Steven I thought I would never have to go through heartbreak again. But I was wrong. I was so wrong. It all started when my life was finally going back to normal. I went to a great school in New York, helped my dad at the tower and started to get to know him better, Steven made my life complete.
I didn't have any friends at school but I never really had friends beside Jake, so I was used to it. But then things started to change quickly. S.H.I.E.L.D. had been hacked multiple times, losing classified information about the infinity stones and Loki's scepter.
One night someone broke in into the most secret S.H.I.E.L.D. locations in Washington D.C. and shut the whole system down, the entire system went offline for over 5 hours and no system means no security. A lot of information went missing.
But luckily they were able to retrieve some security footage from before the shutdown, in hopes it would clarify what had happened. The camera showed a pair awfully familiar. It was me. It was me with my dad. Obviously my dad and I had nothing to do with the attacks but were blamed anyway.
No one but Bruce believes us, not even Steven. He doesn't even talk to me anymore and I haven't seen him in weeks.
And as I am standing in front of his door right now, I feel anxious to even knock, but still I knock 3 times. No answer. I still have his key but I don't feel comfortable using it. I knock again. Yet no answer.
I know he is at home. S.H.I.E.L.D. is still recovering from the attacks so they put all missions on hold. I knock again, 3 times again.
"I know it is you, please just let me be Phoebs. I can't see you right now. I don't want to talk." He says.
It's close, he must be right on the other side of the door.
"Steven... I don't have anything to do with that and you know that. You have to believe. We have to talk!"
"I DON'T HAVE TO DO ANYTHING, I OWE YOU NOTHING!!"
"Steven, plea..."
" Don't call me that. Haven't I told you over a hundred times to not call me Steven!"
"NO!... and do you know why? Because we do not talk anymore! So could you just man up and let me face you! This is bullshit!"
"Ey... LANGUAGE... and stop shouting. Would you please consider my neighbours?"
"Then let me in..."
" You have the damn key, use it."
It's nothing for Steven to be this distant. If he would just hear me out he would understand.
