Reunited

chapter 1

March 3rd, 2015 (flashback)
Vanessa's POV
"Malcolm... I think I'm pregnant."
"What?"
I met Malcolm a few short months ago. We had sex a few weeks ago multiple times. It was great. Malcolm is an athlete and a smarty pants you could say. All straight As. I'm the complete opposite. I don't even know why he likes me. I'm a natural red head but I dye my hair black. I wear dark makeup and I fail at least 3 classes. We were an odd mix but I fell for him and he gave me a chance. The only way I got him to sleep with me was by telling me I was on the pill and I couldn't get pregnant. That was a lie. I want a baby. He doesn't.
"Don't be mad."
"Don't be mad? You told me you couldn't even get pregnant!"
"I lied! Don't you think we'd have a cute baby?"
"Baby's are cute but they cost a lot. They're a lot of work. I don't know if I can do this."
"Yes we can Malcolm! We can!"
"I don't know Ness. I just don't know. I need to think about this."
I didn't hear from him for a couple of weeks. Then he called me.
"Look, I know this will be hard considering I'm 18 and you're 16, but I'll do it. I can't be without my kid."
"Want to come to my doctors appointment tomorrow then?"
"Yeah sure."
The next day I went to check on my baby and find out how far along I am.
"Looks like your two months along with twins! Congratulations!" Malcolm fainted. I screamed. When Malcolm woke up he was mad.
"I could barely handle one, but two? Vanessa I've been meaning to tell you this but I don't want to see you anymore."
"You're not getting out of this that easy. You keep one I keep one and we can go separate ways." Malcolm said he was taking his baby and moving all the way from Nebraska to Florida, his hometown. He moved here with his aunt to do charity work. He's moving back when his baby is ready to leave the hospital in December.
10 years later December 5th 2025
Malcolm's POV
"Happy Birthday Scarlett Isabella Woods!" I yelled as I placed my daughters birthday cake in front of her. I got it from a bakery we went to when she was 5. We've been getting her cake from there ever since. This was going to be a special birthday. I have a special surprise. I don't know how she'll take it.
