Hazel smirked as she crouched on the rooftop, overlooking the English town. "What today, Hazel, what of today..." She tapped her chin as she thought. Her eyes grazed over a few shops she knew of well. "Perhaps I could- no, no, later." She murmured, looking back to the people. "No openings." Hazel frowned and sat back with a sigh as she scanned the streets. Normal townspeople, going about their normal days. Buying food, meeting with friends, and enjoying the fresh air. "They're so clueless. So ignorant. That's how I love them." Hazel thought, a smirk forming on her face. Her red eyes glowed as she spotted a little dark-haired boy walking happily with his mom. "Perfect." She watched the two with mirth, waiting for just the right opening. As the mother talked to a shopkeeper, a dog came running by, capturing the boy's attention. He laughed and ran after it, wandering far from his mom. Hazel snickers and jumps down, beginning to follow after. "Who are you?" The boy straightens up and looks curiously when he saw the demon. "I'm Hazel. Who are you?" "I'm Jim!" He beams happily. So clueless. "Let's play, Jim." Hazel smirked, her red eyes beginning to glow.
Hazel sighed contently, walking casually through the streets of London. She enjoyed the poor screams of townspeople as they found the remains of her handiwork. "The younger souls taste the best..." She murmured as she waltzed once more into the Funtom company store for dessert. Unlike almost every demon, Hazel enjoyed the human pleasures of food, especially candy. "Good morning, Oliver." She smiled as she walked about the shop. The man behind the counter simply narrowed his eyes. "Hazel. I thought I said I didn't want to see your face in here again." He scolded in his thick English accent. "Oh, come on! I just want a chocolate bar! The Funtom company has the best kind." "You didn't pay for your last three, and I want you OUT of my store!" Oliver began to yell. "Okay, okay." Hazel held up her hands in surrender and smirked before turning around and heading for the door, snagging a bar in the process. Oliver growled and picked up the phone, dialing the cops. The demon just casually made her way out. She was ready to head back to the rooftops again, but couldn't help getting distracted by the scene outside the shop. Not only were there cops, but the owner of the company himself came.
"He's so young..." Hazel mused, swinging her legs as she sprawled across a bench. "I've heard of him. The earl Phantomhive... and his butler, it seems." She narrowed her eyes at him as she sensed he wasn't human. She didn't like any competition. Oliver stood outside talking with the earl, before he looked up and saw Hazel, pointing immediately. "Whoops. That's my cue." She jumped up quickly, going to make a break for it. She smirked a bit at seeing that the boy had sent the butler on her tail before knocking into someone and falling down. "Hey!" She looked up to see a young blonde boy who also had some servant with him, similar in looks to the other one that was after her. And that counted in the fact he obviously wasn't human, either. Hazel growled and stood, moving away from them as the Phantomhive servant stopped before them. The blonde frowned a bit at Sebastian. "Sebastian. Why are you after this girl?" He smiled easily. "Why, because my master sent me after her." "Okay, look. So I stole a couple candy bars. What's the big deal?" "Oh, my master doesn't care too much about a couple thefts. The 'big deal', is that I don't think he believes you to be human." Hazel's eyes narrowed as she glared at him before glaring at the other butler. "Well, so what? No one here is human except for the blonde." She jerks her thumb in the direction of the earl of Trancy, causing him to cock his head.
"Yes, well, my master is not interested in anyone but you for the moment." Hazel snorts. "It won't be so easy to capture me, you know." She stood in a ready fighting stance. The earl looked up to his servant, frowning. "Claude, don't let him get her! I want her!" 'WHOA, whoa, wait a minute!" Hazel backed up with a frown. "I won't go with ANY of you! I'm a free-spirited demon, in case you haven't noticed?" She complains as if it were obvious. "I don't make contracts and work hard for my meals. I TAKE what I WANT, WHEN I want it. Don't you think that's so much easier?" "That is not how we are meant to work." The second butler piped up. "Look at this face. See how I don't care. Now, if you'd be so kind, I have to get back to my freedom. Enjoy your ball and chain." "I cannot just let you walk away if my master asked me to obtain you." The first spoke. "I guess you're going back empty-handed." "Sebastian." The earl Phantomhive walked up just then, frowning when he saw the group. Hazel could feel some unknown tension between them. "Forget about her for now. We must return to the estate." "Yes, my Lord." The demon bowed, following the young boy back. Hazel rolled her eyes before looking back to the other two. The blonde smiled at her and she frowned. "What do you want?"
