Just A White Lie

Rick's POV
I watched Liam turn around and head back towards the house. Stuff him I thought and turned away from Faith and headed off towards the bottom of the garden. Faith was behind yelling at me to come back. Well stuff her as well I thought. I wasn't in a sociable mood, and to my discontent, Harry was hiding by the chairs in the hidden area of the garden. "Sapphire," I yelled, "he's here." Harry gasped and ran off. Glad he'd gone, I sat down on one of the empty chairs and pulled out the letter in my pocket.

Harry's POV
I was running from Sapphire when I ran into Faith. She seemed upset and confused. I went to sit down next to her, and she shifted over to make room for me. "What's wrong?" I asked, hugging her.
"Nothing," she responded, "just thinking."
"You must be thinking of something sad, because Jeff thinks you need to be happy."
"Well tell Jeff thank you, but I don't think you want to hear the boring details."
"Go on," I encouraged, snuggling into her more to show I was listening.

Faith's POV
How was I supposed to explain this to Harry? He's only 10, he shouldn't know about or have to deal with stuff like this. I needed a cover story- and fast.

Rick's POV
I was sat, contemplating whether or not to read the letter, when I was interrupted by Floss coming to comfort me. Good job Rick! You're attracting people by looking sad. She wanted to know what was wrong. What would I say?

Rick and Faith's POV
Rick: Look, Floss.
Faith: Look, Harry.
Rick: Faith and I just had a small argument.
Faith: But it's nothing to worry about.
Rick: No, don't look like that.
Faith: We'll make up. It's okay.
Rick: We just need to take a break from each other.
Faith: That's all.
Harry: What was the argument about?
Floss: Is it because you love each other?
Rick: No! Why would you think that?
Faith: We definitely do not love each other! It was just about...
Rick: What we wanted to watch on TV tonight.
Faith: I wanted to watch a movie but he wanted to watch a documentary.
Harry: So you will make friends again.
Rick: Yes.
Faith: So there's nothing to worry about, really. I promise.
Floss: So. What are we watching?

Chloe's POV
I was in the living room watching TV with Ryan and Gus when Harry and Floss ran it. "Faith and Rick are arguing!" Yelled Floss.
"We need to do something!" Finished Harry.
Gus was enjoying the news feed, writing everything down in his note book. He hadn't really been enjoying the programme- Girl Meets World. Ryan was also taking advantage of the fact we'd been distracted from the TV. "Alright, explain," he said.

Faith's POV
As I was walking into the living room, I heard Floss say my name- followed by Rick's. She was explaining what I'd told Harry earlier to Gus, Ryan and Chloe. Oops. At this rate, Rick will find out in no time! I'd best go find him and warn him so he knows what may be coming. I hope he doesn't get mad I used him as a cover up.
I searched the house looking for Rick. It turned out that other than me, Liam was the only person who had seen him all day; he of course was still in a bad mood, however, because still nobody was willing to make time in their schedules for him. I eventually remembered Rick storming down to the bottom of the garden after our short interaction with Liam. As I reached the end of the garden, I heard sniffing and blubbering. When I slowly walked towards Rick and pulled back the cloth keeping the area hidden, I found him crying hunched over a letter.

A/N: Hi guys, sorry we haven't updated for a while. I only went back to school this week so everything's been a bit hectic. I've decided to post definitely once a week (every Saturday) and if I have time I might occasionally on Wednesdays. This will give me time to make chapters more exciting and write a new story I've started which I won't publish for a while. If you have any plot suggestions, it would be really appreciated and please please please tell your friends about this story. Love you guys, tdg_rulez23
