I now live in a home, with three happy children, a farm, 4 dogs.
We argued, we scream at each other, we hated each other, we both got sad, we both let us down, but we find the strength to build each other.
"Babe? I think I heard some knockings at the door. Want to go and get that?" I said, while washing the dishes.
"Yeah, love." he rose up from the couch, and walked towards the door.
Two policemen were standing at the door, drenched in rain.
"Hello? May I help you, gentlemen?" He said.
"Yes, well I'm looking for Esmeralda Ramirez."
"May I ask why?"
"Look, she has been missing for the pass 3 years, her parents have searched the entire country to find Esmeralda."
"Yeah, but me and her are married, she's over 18, me and her are together, we love one another. You can't take her, I love her." Luis said.
"Ma'am, please step outside. You're going home."
I was stunned, I unfortunately lost the track of time. But I live here now, and I have children, I am a mother.
"Look officers, I love him. I am a mother of 3. I am married. I have the right to stay here. Im sorry, but i have to be here." I said.
"Look, I understand, you don't need to go with us. Just give your mom a call, back home, everyone thinks your dead. Their broken hearted, and just a call, or to visit them would be enough. Just reconsider. Have a nice night."
The officer with the umbrella said.
